His trial career is done, but his testimony is a wash because we know he was shot, know he died and he was deceased by 10 minutes according to rescue.

His medical conclusions could have been given by a student.

But his testimony was so haphazard and disconnected it cast doubt. The hands were not bagged and the lay in the rain for 3 hours.

The prosecution was finally on the offense and driving today and they fumbled.

A "ground and pound" without the injuries that would have to result. The good ME that took the stand last week to discuss Mr. Zimmermann's insignificant injuries was very clear that the injuries are not consistent with a "ground and pound" or with having one's head slammed into the concrete. So the leap is all yours - that is the leap from minor scratches to a life threatening situation.

Oh, and I won't report you for using the L word if you'd extend me the same courtesy.

The persons that examined him in person arrived at the same conclusion. His injuries were insignificant.

His injuries were not traumatic, significant is in the eye of the beholder. If my nose looked like his it would be significant to me. Regardless it really does not matter how bad his injuries were or even if he had any, it matters if he had reasonable fear of sever bodily harm. Obviously he was attacked,

His head was smashed on cement like the moshpit guy that was acquitted? I think not. It was 6 foot drop by that mosher, verses 12 inches at most, minus gravity and the resistance of GZ's weak little neck muscles?

That means TM should be found innocent of grave bodily harm regarding the cement contact by GZ's head? Worst case citing in history.

You guys are arguing about something that does not matter. He had to fear great bodily harm. By the time he allowed great bodily harm to happen it would be too late.

He does not have to have a scratch on him for a self defense claim.

I think he should not be involved in a trial as a witness. He's bad at just answering the questions asked of him without being as literal as I've ever seen a human outside of Mr. Spock, who is a Vulcan, not a human. (I'm being specific.) lol

They are talking about the "possibility" of GZ taking the stand? Are you kidding me?

The State would completely ROAST Zimmerman with dozens of questions NEVER asked by anyone about the following of TM, altercation and general missing information on how they fought that 50 feet in 40 seconds and that brief time being PROOF of his conclusion that he feared for his life. It's almost impossible in a reasonable person.

The fact is I think GZ may have been in fear of his life, but it was not reasonable at all.

The only totally bad days the defense had were one and two. I was very active posting about how it was not going GZ's way. The defense had a bad morning and it would have carried the day if not for that idiot ME they point on. I can't believe that guy has testified many times. What a tool.

I would say if identifying him as anything he's more law enforcement in his own mind. That's what he studied, behaved as in his gated community, best friend was a sky marshal and uncle was a Deputy and even wrote as in his sworn statement. Its another reason he speaks with the cops without an attorney, he feels like one of them. As dumb as that is or sounds he must feel secure around them.

He's strange person in my mind. He has ZERO emotion over this death. He demonstrates this over and over in each statement and in court.

And since It was only a year and 4 months ago and I've only been here for 5 months I'll take your word on the rest of them.

He had to have had reasonable fear of death or great bodily harm. He had a couple of scratches from a scuffle that he provoked. That does not constitute reasonable fear.

They were consistent with being hit while laying on his back which was confirmed by another witness, they physical injuries, and the skinned knuckles of the victim. Nothing in the law (not that you care about the law LOL) says you have to wait until you are badly injured to take action you just have to be in fear of injury.

Zimmerman did not claim he was subjected to "ground and pound". These are the words of an independent witness.

Don't worry - the jury will be instructed on what to do and they will follow their instructions.
