Does your sister have power of attorney regarding your son so that she can complete and sign those forms? If so I see no issue with her completing and signing the forms.

The DS-156 requires a passport number on it, but you do not need the form until the interview. Do you have an interview date yet?

Yes its possible, IF your sister has a special power of attorney (for your son) from you for doing this.

There was a topic on this just recently about power of attorney for "limited guardianship" to complete this process.

You son being a minor would require a parent or guardian signing those forms.

Yes you will still need the I-134 (from the original petitioner, your husband now) with a copy of the most recent tax return and W-2.

You will need almost everything the same as when you completed your K-1 visa, follow the embassy instructions letter to the "T", have all documents and forms listed in the instructions letter, except those that the embassy states are not for the K-2 or not required because of his age.

Sign forms like this: (print) For son's name then sign your name (and your relationship) mother

I-134, husband completes his part said as before.

3) Yes that is your son's name

8) Yes that is your name ( and if he has dependent children their names)

9) Yes your name

Father-in-law follows the same format, if he co-sponsored you before then he lists you same as you husband for 8 & 9

hi hank thank you for your response, can i clarify if i need the tax forms to be original or is it ok that it is a copy? like

just send the filled out tax forms and i-134 scan it and email it?

as seen on the website if i am not mistaken

Form I-134 Affidavit of Support: The I-134 Affidavit of Support is required for returning residents (SB-1), fiancé(e)s or spouses of U.S. citizens (K1, K3), children of K1 and K3 applicants, and applicants with special immigrant status. A copy of the sponsor's most recent Federal Income Tax Return (Form 1040) should accompany the I-134. Faxed copies of the ITR are acceptable.

http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3217.html

edit:

nevermind it states on the letter N of the pdf the i-134 needs to be original ..

im just trying to make it in time before his interview
