I-130 and G-325A necessary to correct Place of Birth, or wait until DS-230?

Hey everyone,

My wife's original city of birth no longer exists as it was merged with another city and given a new name. We entered the current name on the I-130 and my wife's G-325A. The paperwork package is now at USCIS and we're awaiting NOA2.

So her birth certificate has the old, original name. Does this need to be corrected ASAP? Or can we just wait it out and then use the original name with the NVC DS-230 package so it matches her birth certificate?

Appreciate any advice the community could provide. Thanks!
