I just looked at my completed I-134's...

At the bottom it says:

I acknowledge that I have read "Sponsor and Alien Liability" on Page 2 of the instructions for this form, and am aware of my

responsibilities as a sponsor under the Social Security Act, as amended, and the Food Stamp Act, as amended.__________

What is that line for??? Do you have to write / tick something here? I see ym fiance has not done anything, and my father-in-law-to-be has written yes. Which is right, and is this bad? Does this mean one of them is wrong?

Freaked out now :(

This has been discussed on here quite a few times actually. I believe the concensus is that it can be left blank (even though I think my husband did sign it).

I was wondering that myself, as I was looking at the form today... I was planning to initial on that line. Seems like a logical option. Can anyone else weigh in?

EDIT: Thanks, HK12. I think I'll still initial that line. It seems like a logical place for initials, confirming that you've read and agree to that stuff on page 2. I think it's probably fine either way.
