Well, it seems I lost 9kg (19 pounds or so in Imperial) over the past 4 weeks. And I had my band fill yesterday without any major issues though it took 3 attempts for the consultant to find the entry

Okay let me RANT cuz I am getting really tired of stupidity. You tell people things yo0u know about this journey to send in and no they saw a y9outube they read someone blog and even had the nerve to say

"I do have 3-4 copies of everything but even other blogs I have read and youtube videos I have seen, If they send it in with the initial 1st packet then its not asked for again. I believe you when you say its probably not needed at 1st. I just want to be able to send him the exact replica of what I have already sent in. Along with the tax info I included the I-134 too."

They are filing a K1. I am done we have gone back and forth for 30 minutes. So you know what do what you need to do to get through Lagos. Don't listen to wise counsel. Do the freakin frack what the flip you want. OMG

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

Might get to bed not much past this ridiculously early hour, zzz man. However, must arise at o'dark-thirty to prep for at least 8 garage sales, si man. Mrs. T-B. has already said that she doesn't want to go, so I'll call the 6 rubias (imaginary harem of blondes) to go along, whee man.

Sears.. I love Kenmore appliances. They're consistently rated very high in consumer reports. In my old appt, in Canada, the stove and the fridge were both Kenmore and both worked pretty well, but I'm sure they were also both from the 60s. I had the minor problem of water in the bottom of the fridge that was fixed by cleaning out the drain valve, and the stove had rusty connectors for the burners so occasionally they needed to be poked at to work, but the oven was fantastic. Overall pretty good for old appliances.

Debbie... some people are just stupid, they don't want to learn. Others think they have it all figured out. Let them be. You can only help someone so much, and if it's not the answer they want to hear, they're being closed minded so no answer will work for them except the one they want to hear.

People say that it's the people that don't take no for an answer that get what they want. But it's a misunderstood concept. When you hear no, that doesn't mean keep smashing your head into the wall until that person says yes. That's insanity (doing the same thing over and over but expecting a different result.) It means to take a new route, find a new way, to get what you want. Just because you can't jump from A to Z doesn't mean that you can't go from A to C to Z or A to C to J to T to Z. There generally is a route, but people are inherently lazy. Progress is made because people are lazy but the person who makes whatever it is easier, that has found an interest that keeps their brain moving and are NOT being lazy. Not everything should be made easier though. The harder it is, the better you feel about obtaining the goal! Someone who loses 5lbs probably doesn't feel the same joy in their accomplishment as someone who loses 50, or 150!

Basically you can only help someone who is actually willing to help themselves.
