How does an illegal person get by for that long.

How do they work?

My ex has a Filipino friend who's been illegal in the country for 20 some years. He's gay so until now, he hasn't had a viable way to convert to legal status. He's worked mainly under the table. Before they started cracking down, he just made up an SS number and worked regular jobs. He just renews his drivers license as it was obtained before all the proofs they require today.

I was a busy guy. When we got married, all was forgiven by uscis as a convenience to me.

Tiff graduated high school. Her aunt lives in the USA. She asked tiffs dad to send her and her sis here to look into school. They get here early 01, I met tiff at a cafe thinking she worked there. I ordered coffee from her. Embarrassed, I was apologetic. She asked for directions. i was going that way, so i walked with her. she looked like she was 13. Realizing she's either a tourist or illegal immigrant, I gave her my card.

She knew who da man......

She called, and asked a few things. During the conversation, her age came up. She said she was 18, all proud of herself. We had a few friendly dates. She decided that she was gonna hang around. She held a part time job at a coffee shop and a shiseido store.

Around here they work in restaurants, construction and janitorial services. ICE cracked down about a year ago on the janitorial services, and we had a heck of time finding someone to come in and clean our offices. I think it's mainly reverted back to illegals doing the work again. The companies hire them as independent contractors, then they're not required to validate their immigration status. Same thing in the construction business. Restaurants seem to pay under the table a lot. When my wife was first here, she was approached to do in home day care and house cleaning services under the table. Another Filipina I know has been working at the tea shop without employment authorization as of yet. I had my wife tell her she should get all that information off her FB page, but she's not too smart about it. To me documenting your history of working without authorization is pretty risky when shortly she should be able to legally work.

The problem with the Chinese is, they're all from fujian and spread out all over the USA. When Minnesota has an ICE raid, they all flock back to NYC.

Here they are known as "fooks"
