Well, it seems I lost 9kg (19 pounds or so in Imperial) over the past 4 weeks. And I had my band fill yesterday without any major issues though it took 3 attempts for the consultant to find the entry

Cats don't need tooth care by owners, their teeth are self-cleaning

No they aren't.

Her teeth are covered in plaque to the point where she barely eats dry food because it irritates her.

They told me about this in 2009 and I ignored it.

It's getting worse.

It actually would be A LOT worse if I didn't start feeding her wet food.

The Vet in 2009 told me that it was an incorrect myth that wet food was bad for cats.

They're carnivores.

The wet food is GOOD for them.

Be back in a minute. Going to go brush Ginger’s teeth with her kitty toothbrush and kitty “vanilla mint” toothpaste. luv.gif

Then she won't want to cuddle with me for a whole half hour or so while she sulks.

I have to because The Mean Lady was glaring at me. I know her eyes were telling me to take care of kitty teeth.

Sulking is beneath them. They merely ignore the servants while deeply contemplating their utter displeasure at the attempted humiliation.

Did you see the Molson Canadian video where they parked beer fridges in spots in Europe that could only be opened by a Canadian Passport?

They need those at events down in the US for us :D

Kitty is not unhappy with me. To show my remorse for making her suffer that indignity, I fed her some of her wet food which she LOVES.
