Which one?

My husband was USAF. He always wanted to be a pilot but didn't know that you had to be an officer to be a pilot when he enlisted. He also didn't know that you don't have to pay to go the Academy just be good enough to get in.

btw swimming lessons should be a breeze for her if she doesn't mind her face being wet. My daughter took 7 tries to get through the first level because she wouldn't put her face in the water, even with a promise of barbies. LOL

Actually hubs was tempted to join the army after leaving the air force to try to become a warrant officer aviator. He said if he ever joined again that's what he'd do. (He also has a signed copy of the book "Dustoff" http://www.amazon.com/Dustoff-The-Memoir-Army-Aviator/dp/0891418024)

My BIL went into the Navy because hubs went into the AF. He didn't want to necessarily follow in his brother's footsteps. I figured you'd want her to be a Marine, but maybe her life will end up leading her elsewhere, who knows!

I really don't want my daughter to follow my footsteps lol. It was kinda rough. But I've always been a firm believer that all great achievements are mostly mental. And the service academies, or the Olympics, are great places to prepare a person for future challenges.

Did you know that a lot of us Olympic athletes go on to be highly educated? For reasons such as.....

1- I won an Olympic medal, how hard is school?

2- scholarships. What school wouldn't like to have an Olympian as alumni?

What size uhual? There were 3 seats in the 14' truck, the middle one was wide enough for a normal sized adult, but there is a huge console that makes it only comfortable for skinny people or kids. Tessa enjoyed sitting in it. LOL We put a cooler there for snacks. biggrin.png

We booked the 14’. Is there room for a covered litter box on the floor somewhere?

We’ll make it work somehow I know, but the whole not even knowing when or where we’ll get our truck is annoying. If it’s at the location I chose then it’ll be open at 9. The other location in Lethbridge doesn’t open until 11.

I’m getting very stressed about the whole move. The teen is not responding to my sense of urgency. girlwerewolf2xn.gif

I'm surprised they haven't called you to let you know that the truck is available yet. They let us know 2-3 days ahead of time. You can wedge a covered litter box in there anywhere. 14' was WAY more than I needed (I saw a 10ft truck today and that would have been perfect for us, but they're too new in Canada.)

Start packing her things for her, maybe she'll get annoyed enough to start doing it on her own?
