Well, it seems I lost 9kg (19 pounds or so in Imperial) over the past 4 weeks. And I had my band fill yesterday without any major issues though it took 3 attempts for the consultant to find the entry

Doing great here, even found a dollar in the parking lot when I got to work.

In the middle of a busy bank lobby, a Texas Aggie stooped down and made a big production of picking something up from the floor. He announced loudly, "Did anyone lose a large roll of bills with a rubber band around it?"

"I did! I did!" said several people.

"Well, I just now found the rubber band," said the Aggie.

Maybe on another day.

Thank you for the good thoughts. Its nice to be missed. just been busy with grandkids, and taking recruiters calls. have an interview tomorrow so things have been poppin lately.

Will keep my fingers crossed for you! :)

The teen recently completed her diploma exams in English. She had to do one essay that was based on personal experiences.

She told me last night that her essay was on the sacrifices that mothers make and how my ex wasn’t good for me but was good for her so I stayed longer than I should have.

It was a bittersweet thing for me.

That's really touching.

It goes back to the old Northwest Orient days, when flights to Asia was a specialty of the airline that was based here. They started making the flights in the 40's I believe. Now they're Delta and actually prefer to route you through Detroit which is a bigger hub.

I have silverware from Northwest Orient, and from several other airlines, most of which no longer exist. I'm mulling ideas of what to do with it but am stumped, sigh man.

I just want to get the heck out of the plane after about 5 hours actually.

I have less & less patience for it. A 2-hour flight is plenty for me. Interestingly, a flight from Houston to Quito is only a few minutes longer than one from Houston to Seattle.

There is a particular member on this board that always babbles on about personal stories that BARELY have anything to do with the main topic being discussed. The link between the story, which helps no one, and the main topic is tenuous at best more often than not.
