More importantly....how do I prosper from this immigration stuff......

really, being where I live. And being in the circle of friends that I am amongst (Lawyers, business people, cops, immigrants). You guys should see some of the stuff that I've seen.......

I know an attorney here on Broadway.....I'm telling you, he can get anyone. I mean anyone, a GC.

Of course she is, she got away with it, as 99% of people do. If not a 100%. Have you ever heard of anyone getting denied for doing it?

My girlfriend was really impatient and didn't want to wait so hence she opted for the loophole and got away with it. It just makes me mad that she now advising our other friend to do this.

If you come to the east coast, I'll treat you guys to some seafood.

I'd love to make a trip like that, but my wife is so missing family right now, I think I have no choice but to make that the next vacation.

about a thousand plus 500 per appearance IFO a judge. plus filing fees. Typically, an illegal entry asylum case will run about $20,000- 30,000 over the course of a decade.

well, if you go or return via the east coast, you can have a layover.

Looks like the sister in-law is staying in the Philippines rofl.gif

Actually I don't think she'd leave it anyway. Much like my wife, she never wanted to leave either.

I remember when my wife was just a friend, I met a Filipina who was so hot to get to the USA, the third sentence out of her mouth was marry me and bring me to the USA. That woman scared me because she was really hot looking and willing to do anything, and you never know when the little head is going to start thinking for you.

well.....The initial cost is only 2 to 3000 dollars to get an EAD. Then once the case is started, it goes on for years.....and one would sorta be like on a payment plan. There were some arrests of about 2 dozen people a couple of years ago all over NYC. They were nailed on "coaching" these asylum seekers. And setting up false religious house of worships for the sole purpose to benefiting these immigrants.

So now, these attorneys here are more careful. Let me see what I can find in regards to this.....

About the furthest east I've seen from here for flights there, is Detriot. The east coast is just not the direction to travel when going to the Philippines. And to tell the truth, the flight is so darn long I do everything I can to get there in as short of flight time as possible. There was a time flying was nice, but now you just feel like you're baggage.

actually I think the shortest flight time for you may be the east coast. Minneapolis to Newark or JFK, newark to HK, to Fils...?

Shortest from here, Minneapolis to Narita (12 hours), Narita to Manila (4 hours). That Newark to Hong Kong is a 16 hour flight on its own. I did the Chicago to Hong Kong once, which was almost as long. Add in the Minneapolis to Chicago and the Hong Kong to Manila hops and I felt like a zombie when I arrived.

I literally just did this one "That Newark to Hong Kong is a 16 hour flight on its own"

i think it was maybe right at 15 hours. We flew from HK back to chicago last Sunday and the estimated time at take off was 14.
