Well, it seems I lost 9kg (19 pounds or so in Imperial) over the past 4 weeks. And I had my band fill yesterday without any major issues though it took 3 attempts for the consultant to find the entry

I'm suffering from dinner, it was oh so good, but I ate oh too much. How can I still feel bloated by morning?

Manok bola bola, which translates to chicken testicles, but is really fried chicken meatballs Filipino style. Also had a bit of pork, duck and of course rice. Then cantaloupe for desert. My wife fries a lot of food, so I've totally converted us to using only virgin olive oil. I'm not sure what I'll do when we move back to the Philippines, as they use coconut and palm oil for everything, which I do not think is good for you.

Sounds nommy! Minus the chicken balls...though I guess if you fry them it would probably taste the same.

I've only ever fried things in canola oil. I do most of my cooking with ev olive oil though. Tastes like winning.

Yeah! I only learned this after I tried to pan-sear a steak the other night and wondered why my kitchen and living room were full of smoke.

But healthy and tasty don't always mean the same. I use olive oil and butter together when frying. I might as well die happy after a great meal.

Olive oil has a low smoking point. Evaporating the flavor wit it. Try canola oil. It tastes great....

Peanut oil is tasty too.....

What the difference between an oral and rectal thermometer.....
