So I go to the DL office this morning, Turns out there's an issue with my SAVE db. Tomorrow (thankfully because they're only open wednesdays) I have to go to a certain DL office in which they can fix this issue. The only annoying part is having to bring all the required stuff so I'll have to make a trip to the USPS office today to get stamps and photocopies of my green card and DL. Not sure why they need my AB DL? Anyhow... It says in 2-7 weeks I'll get a letter of clearance which allows me to get the DL. I got my SSN. I have my green card and nothing is wrong on it. ####### can possibly be wrong except maybe they messed up my names like they did for hikergirl. It's not messed up on my GC tho... huh2.gif

Bonus points for fixing this at a CBP office today. Yes, go in person. Not need to be a POE site, can be deferred inspection / secondary inspection office instead.

GPS on my phone sucks. We have it in the jeep so I'll type it in there, but I like have the map in front of me with a direction list. GPS has let me wrong too many times for me to trust it wholeheartedly.

I blame it on the Canadien-specific eeproms in yer phone.

Chase down a USA GPS, used, on craigslist or ebay, nowish. Best 40 bucks you'll spend this week.

I got a Huffy Beach Cruiser for $85 from Walmart to use. Hubbys co-workers said to get something cheap because bikes dont last in the salty air here.

As for the shells, well just clean them up and put them in the lamp base. I got one that looks like this:

Man I was gonna get a Walmart bike, then these guys here are like....no, don't get a huffy, diamondback.....go get a trek.......

I was told I have to go to this special office tomorrow with this specific piece of paper. (It has a list of the places I can fix this issue on it along with the list of items I need and 2 specific case numbers?) It would likely take longer to go to DIA today to get this done than go where I was told to tomorrow morning. Guess I lose my bonus points. lol I have grocery shopping to do.

FYI the only CBP office in Colorado is at DIA. The other airport is considered a user fee airport so doesn't have CBP on site.

BTW I'm using my current phone until we can get new ones when we sign up for verizon in November. I have always had trouble with GPS and I think it's the actual phone. It's cost me more than enough to get this phone working. It uses google maps for GPS btw, I don't use the built in HTC GPS... It is an android phone after all.

yes yes, I did mention phone eeproms specific to Canada. IMO, that's the bit that's turning yer highly touted phone into a useless brick.

I looked at those! Did you? I will try at Centennial since it is right beside my husband's work (he takes care of the electronics there) but the way I understood user fee was that there was a fee associated and there were not regular CBP stationed at the airport just when pilots call and need them.

plus the ONLY deferred inspection in Colorado was at DIA ;) I did look at that form and searched it several times.

I know people think i'm stupid, but I'm not.

Steve - chemical ice pack, apply for 10 minutes, then scrape it off with a putty knife.

Place a sign over the dryer - Do not use this dryer unless you have a Certificate of Training issued in your name

Sure - it means you have to have training sessions and issue certificates, but hey !
