I'll be going with my wife more than likely. Not sure yet this year. Personally I hate going to the state fair, just too many people clogged into too small an area. Did I ever mention I hate, literally detest crowds? If I go it will be a rainy day like last year so I can avoid the heavier crowds.

So I go to the DL office this morning, Turns out there's an issue with my SAVE db. Tomorrow (thankfully because they're only open wednesdays) I have to go to a certain DL office in which they can fix this issue. The only annoying part is having to bring all the required stuff so I'll have to make a trip to the USPS office today to get stamps and photocopies of my green card and DL. Not sure why they need my AB DL? Anyhow... It says in 2-7 weeks I'll get a letter of clearance which allows me to get the DL. I got my SSN. I have my green card and nothing is wrong on it. ####### can possibly be wrong except maybe they messed up my names like they did for hikergirl. It's not messed up on my GC tho... huh2.gif

Maybe they have you down as a man......

They need your AB DL to prove you took a road test. That waives a road tes in Colorado.

Everything on my GC is correct so I really don't understand the issues, plus nothing was mentioned when I got my SSN. Granted I forgot to ask about the SAVE so maybe there was an issue?

When my wife got her green card, and we went to update the SSN, they discovered my wife's name in the SAVE database was still in her maiden name. Took a little extra time to get the new SS card because of that. But I did at least discover Green Card name being correct does not mean the SAVE name is correct. Who knows what else could be screwed up.

I heard that in Poland, , every parking space is marked "handicap parking"

Oh I found the reason, Poland has no internet today. Maybe they share the internet with Italy, and its Italy's turn to have internet today?

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://www.poland.com/

The following error was encountered:

  • Connection to 46.105.245.165 Failed

The system returned:

(61) Connection refused

How dare you guys make fun of Poland behind Asia's back?

How do you know she's not facing America right now?

Sigh... oh well at least it's open tomorrow and I only wasted ink on photocopies I did with my home printer. I'll buy a stamp when I get some groceries later and head to the damn office tomorrow. Kiddo will be waking up with me and headed there after we drop the hubs off. Which reminds me i got directions from my house but not from his work... /sigh

Meh, only time I worry about routes is if I'm going into the complete unknown. Otherwise, I self-navigate the old-fashioned way - landmarks and going in the general direction of the place I'm heading for.
