She's good. I had some stuff planned out but she said she didn't really want to do it, just didn't want to say no to me because it might hurt my feelings or make me mad. I told her I got more annoyed that she was wishy washy or just wouldn't say that she didn't want to do said thing. It's okay if you don't, sometimes you still have to do it, but when I ask for your opinion, I want it. I want her to have fun. So we went to the pool. She had fun there even though I didn't go swimming. We have to get groceries and maybe see if we can find some pool toys for her (like rings or something to get from the bottom.) I also have to take her back to school shopping but at least I'm not working so I have the opportunity to do so during the week. Hopefully the crowds won't be too bad.

I don't think I'd be a good mother.

Besides my sister and her friends are repopulating just fine.

She has 2 kids (wants to have at least 1 kid more), one of her friends has 3 kids, and another one has 5 kids

I've no idea how old Niki is, but if I had to guess, I'd guess 5 to 10 years younger just so I don't accidentally say she's older than she is.

As an adult, I made some friends that were a number of years older than me. Turns out a few of them worked in the same business as my father. When they realized he was my father, they acted kind of weird, and then I told them I don't really get along with him, he wasn't to do nothing but fight all the time. Universally, everyone I've met who's known him in the business world has said he was an a$$ after they knew I wouldn't be offended.

Since we're telling stories......

When I was little. It was just my father and I. Often I was taken care of by various relatives. There were a distant aunt and uncle (my moms cousin and his wife). They would often take me in for the night, feed me. When my father was sick, they'd send their teenage son and daughters to help with the chores.....etc.....

In 1977, they moved away. To me, I always remembered the things that this family has done for me, and my father.

Years later, may be 2002 or so. This aunt called my father, they needed help. $10,000. To save their house from foreclosure. The plea fell on death ears. When I got called, I asked my father why didn't he lend them the money. He said "you know you'll never see this money again". I said "so you give them the money, did they ever ask you for anything?"

In short. I sent them the money. And I never saw it again. That uncle died in 2007. And I made a journey to go sweep his grave. I keep in touch with that aunt, and the kids. These kids were like my brothers and sisters until they moved.

I often think, how can my father be such an ungrateful person?

You know, when I die.....I want people to come to my funeral not to mourn. But to celebrate. And not celebrate my passing. But celebrate my living.....

Then there was my fathers younger brother, he's the one that took me fishing, ball games, etc....
