I agree.

I don't know what it is with me and competition shows lately. I am not this kind of person, but I just can't help myself atm. I NEED the drama.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

there was some competition show, where 2 teams get into a junkyard, amass parts and pieces, and cobble them together (bolts, welding, and whatnots) to build something that worked.

That's about the last competition show that I liked to watch.

Sure - The Great Race (or whatever it was called) was fun to watch the year they went into Singapura, but even then I was shaking my head.

These days, I just post stuff on instructables.com

Can you instruct me on fixing my ceiling?

I never watched great race or survivor, etc. I am mostly wrapped up in the cooking shows like Master Chew, Hell's Kitchen, Chopped, etc. I also enjoy AGT because....wat.

No, but I've been told I should!

Also, my English in-laws gave me an overwhelming amount of baking stuff for our wedding....so I think it's a sign.

I tried watching Survivor, once, thinking I'd see some survival training similar to what I had on the GreenTeam. Nope Nope - even 20 minutes was way too much. Drama sells, I suppose - not my cup o chai.

How about "come dine with me" - that's cool to watch while drinking some wine.

Hulu? Netflix? Tell me more! I'm a bottle deep!

A group of random strangers living in the same town or city spend an evening at each others houses hosting dinner parties. They have to rate each others hosting and cooking skills. The winner gets 1000 UK pounds. Lots of bitchiness etc. It's a weekly show.

Wait, I think I watched it when I was in England. Hubby was loving it...my focus was elsewhere.
