On a related woman note, I have this friend that I've been close with ever since move-in day of freshman year of uni. We lived together, I was in her wedding, she was in mine, etc. I've always known she is flaky (not answering calls or texts, etc). We now live in the same state, literally twenty minutes away from each other and it's ridiculous for us to not hang out. However, she hasn't responded to a single call or text in over a month and I'm trying to figure out if that means give up or continue to try until she responds. I hate being the person who does that, but I value our friendship. What do I do? Make a decision for me.

Thrilling Domestic Update, zzz man:

Emptied dishwasher last night without incident except for nearly up-waking the entire household by banging plates together, shhhh man. Even ran a second load when I beheld all the pots that Mrs. T-B. had left. She has a terrible cold and probably didn't feel like washing them, no man.

Speaking of last point, Mrs. T-B. wanted me to put her in bed tonight, and I gave her a cold-pill. She said, "Pills, pills, pills! Why do gringos take so many pills?" I said, "If a gringo offers you pills, it means that he loves you. That's how gringos show love, si man." She said, "Love me by going downstairs for a bottle of water so I can take your gringo pill."

Actually, there was an ulterior motive. I gave her the cold-pill to knock her out so that I could call the rubias (imaginary harem of 6 blondes), see man.

You just don't realize how conservative she was raised. But then again, I did finally get her to wear short shorts outside the house. But she is so paranoid over anyone seeing she has nipples, she runs to the bedroom to put on a bra whenever anyone shows up at the door. Even if its a solicitor that isn't coming in.

I don't imagine there are many 60 year old hookers active in Vegas. At least from the Cops episodes I've seen. They're more likely to be under 18.
