In theory I could but not that early as there are no streetlights on the Island. Its against the city code. The neighbourhood has a few dim/lower to the ground lighting but Its hard enough to see the tourists at dusk let alone a runner when its still dark.

I may try to figure out when dawn is and see what the temperature is like then. smile.png Told hubby we have to get to the beach for sunrise one of these days. He doesnt like mornings though.

What about using a flashing light that attaches to your bike? I think that you can order lights on line that you can attach to your sneakers that flash. I bought little ones from MEC before I left Canada.

Since I live in the middle of bum f%@# nowhere (barely any street lights) and I like to run in the morning when it is cool but dark out, I found that these small lights have been quite helpful.

I see your problem, you tried giving him a hint you wanted him to start a load of laundry. Guys don't take hints, you asked for the laundry downstairs and thats exactly what you got. If you want a guy to start a load of laundry, you need to say "take the laundry downstairs and start or load, or you're not getting any for a month". Thats a hint a guy understands. BTW the second part is if he's actually lazy and not a typical guy that thinks, I'm glad she didn't ask me to start a load of wash to.

He knew that I wanted him to take it downstairs and put it into the washing machine. When I called him out on this, he started to laugh like crazy and said the exact same thing that you did. The laughing is what gave it away. He is not a good liar.

I am relatively new here so please explain why TBone is always talking about and doing laundry.

Because he is a great husband who knows how to take care of his wife. My husband could learn a thing or two from him...lazy man...my husband...not TBone

Yes, Yes, Steve is da Man!.

I just pray he finds a competent wife, this decade. (Or that his current wife actually grows into a competent wife)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

My husband doesn't do laundry... well he did till I showed up. LOL

He also doesn't cook or anything else.

But he will do the dishes or take out the garbage if I ask nicely. When we're both working, we'll separate out the house chores more fairly, (when he was with me in Canada he did everything but laundry and most of the cooking because he didn't work). I'd like to find a place we can take cooking classes together. :)

my husband has been doing the laundry since I have been pregnant. Once a week he diligently and without complaint takes the clothes to the Laundromat. I still have to fold and put them away though..

Sorry this should read "What about using a flashing light similar to the type that you would attach to a bike?"

My hubby said he feels depressed folding clothes sleep.png

LOL!! That is how I feel too.
