Hey Part4!! congrats to you and hubby on your jobs!! biggrin.png YAY!

Thank you! content.gif

well, I've taught her to be way ahead of the class. She knows how to hold her breath underwater, she knows how to jump in the pool, she knows how to paddle and kick, and she's lightening fast in my neighbors pool.

She showed up at swimming class today and went backwards in time. Afraid to jump in, afraid to go underwater.....it's frustrating. She knows how to swim. and she won't do it. The instructors had to drag her with the kick board. But yet she really doesn't need it.....the second she holds the kick board, she stops kicking....

Part 4 is now part5 lol

Maybe she was just having an off day. Kids do weird things sometimes. I bet next time she'll do much better!

My back is killin me from yard work....

Friday eve, came home. Mowed lawn, chiefly to return to a Fri.-eve schedule (disrupted because of out-of-town trip a couple of weeks ago). Mirabile visu, 'twas cloudy with actual breeze. Subdued grass, with body as dead as ever. Blew nose. Amidst globs of snot, macromolecules of dried grass emerged, hack man.

Am getting too old for this, sigh man, but remain too cheap to pay illegals like everyone else does, $i man.

Garage sales largely sucked this weekend, too, sigh man. Great one Thursday eve (mongo affair in a church auditorium); 2 "where the dickens are the advertised sales at the appropriate addresses" on Sat. morn (heavy rain at 6 a.m. might have played a role in those damn chickens' having decided not to set up); 2 "why did you even bother to set up if you're going to have so little stuff and it's all #######" stops; 3 "host, shut UP and let me LOOK and if I SEE anything of interest I'll TELL you" affairs; and one good one only.

Mrs. T-B. was again not happified by my early-morn disappearance to do the sales, but I bought Mini-Bone a plastic dinosaur that growls when one pushes a button on its chest. He was delighted and she was mollified, he man and she man.

The usual crowd is teeming in this thread at this hour, so I shall defer to them and go to bed, zzz man.
