I always make Swedish pancakes for my kid - they’re more like crepes. Put in some apples pieces cooked with a bit of butter, cinnamon and sugar. Yummy.

We go to IHOP for breakfast and she complains that every meal comes with American pancakes which she can’t stand.

She only likes Swedish pancakes, crepes and pannenkoek.

I am almost done the kitchen. Yay!

Then I can start cooking for hubby and the teen and her friend.

Looking at taking a seafood cooking lesson at the one place here. The lesson is how to choose the best seafood/fish and prepare it.

I haven’t yet tried to make pannenkoek. There was a restaurant in Calgary that made them.

I may have to try them next. My favourite had bacon, rösti and cheese in them. Topped with some sour cream they were delicious.

Not sure when I’ll get home next to have them again.

We had a chain of restaurants making them here. But the chain was poorly run and didn't bother to pay the taxes they withheld from employee pay. The government walked in one day and locked them all up. Only a couple franchised stores reopened. I think there's just one left now. My favorite was the apple cinnamon with cinnamon ice cream.
