I’m tired of unpacking and trying to fit my belongings into this place. I hope to finagle hubby into helping me decide what stays and what goes.

To add me and the kid to his health care is going to cost an atrocious amount of money ($870 per month for us two). I’m getting an upset tummy just thinking about it.

sometimes it's cheaper to get everyone their own health care. I remember looking into hub's and noticed it jumped up like 600 per month just to add me. I can't have kids, we don't have a family, but they want to charge us a family of 4? #######!?! Some of the eye and dental you could do a +1 and it wasn't too bad but health care was stupid.

You and I come from Alberta too where there is no provincial cost even! When I think about the cost of health care, I wonder why I moved. If I get cancer, I'm moving back to Canada.

I'm getting my husband his own plan.

It was 600/mo for him and it was just 150/mo for me.

It isn't a family plan, though, that was just spousal.

It's even more for a family.

Health care in the USA is so screwed up. I won't go any further on that, because healthcare has now become political. It should be really, but there's so much money involved, of course is turned political.

Hubby got a full-time job! Very relieved he's going to have health insurance.

Oh, he's great! Thanks for asking. All his hair has grown back now, so he looks like a normal chihuahua again. He's really enjoying the big open spaces that southern PA has to offer.

I bet he's VERY happy!
