I have occasionally published pictures of my fishing trips...

they just get liver flukes...

hey hey I'm not that old...

(What is the prime age for a male?)

Prime age for a while male is what ever age I'm currently at. I set the standard.

Prime age for an Asian male is any age you're not. Sorry if just how it works when you don't go and get us our swordfish and tuna!

Is this some kinda lesbian talk?

Jacque69, welcome to the CABA lesbian channel. Where are your flukes, tuna and beaver needs will get served.

My wife told me she was sad this morning. When I asked why she said because it wasn't her birthday any longer and I had given her the best birthday she ever had in her life yesterday. I'm proud of myself for a job well done, as that was my intent yesterday.

And born on 1976, the USA bicentennial. I told her last night I had set up the fireworks show just for her rofl.gif

Actually she never had a birthday party in her life until I was in her country and threw one for her. Her family was pretty poor and her younger brother died on her birthday, so her family was always in mourning on her birthday. An unfortunate tradition in her country. Knowing this, I always try to make her birthdays extra special, although her first one in the USA coincided with a huge homesickness attack.

I'm glad you gave her a wonderful birthday Cary. Everyone deserves a good birthday. I've had a few.

I was thinking of setting up my daughter's bed instead of bringing in the love seat and TV. Hubs and I are going to have a lord of the rings marathon this weekend. :) He wasn't sure her bed was strong enough for 2 adults. Lol. It's the top bunk to a $2000 bed set, I should hope it is! Ex's mom gave it to me for the kiddo. I'm just not sure her little mattress is up to the task and we'd need to put pillows along the back if we're gonna use it as a day bed. Maybe the love seat is a better idea for now? Hrm.

Day beds are great and more use flexible. I'd vote to go that way.

She probably visited Birkenau as well, which is a part of KL Auschwitz-Birkenau as well.

It's a really depressing place.

I was there, ages ago. With some German students who came visiting our school.

They were even more shaken than we.

Yes she did. I remember she saw the Checkpoint Charlie museum, a holocaust museum in one of the cities, A-B but I’m not sure where else.

She said A-B was very emotional. One of the projects they had to do prior to going on the trip was to research someone who had died there. To make it more personal.

I know she came home loving Prague even though it was dingy. Her theory was that is was from all the cigarettes people smoke there.

Can’t remember her impressions of Krakow. Didn’t like Berlin - not sure why. She liked Vienna with the cafés and such.

Oddly enough she ran into a friend from her Elementary school (her friend travelled with a group of kids from Germany as she was in Germany on an exchange) in the Wurstelprater.

My bifthdays are always awesome because I make sure to remind people they're coming for a about a month prior to the actual day.

Actually my birthdays are usually pretty lame, but if I ACT like they're awesome, then they are.

Go catch a swordfish for me.

Oh hey, guys, guess what I saw yesterday.

I saw a groundhog.

This beast decides he's going to hop up under my hood too.

I had to rev the engine to get him to hop back out before I could leave.

Then he's sitting in the driveway, when I get back, eating the berries that fell off the tree and won't move.

I actually thought it was like a baby beaver lmao.

Hubby won't let me live it down.

I saw a Marmot once when I went for a hike near Vernon. I took a picture of it because I had NO clue what it was.

Haven’t seen a ground hog.

OH and a muskrat. Those things have ugly tails like rats. Yuck!

I think it was mostly from being poor and not having food.

I didn't have anything to snack on.

I drank like 5 bottles of water a day.

It just all dropped like flies.

Sorry to hear you couldn't afford food.

BTW - not eating as much as you eat normally it's the best way to loose weight. Not any diet, just eating less...

I wish I had such strong will to do that.
