I notice that some of the people having garage sales in my area, habitually have garage sales. Apparently they think if they just have a garage sale every other week, they'll mange to sell what the other neighbors put in the trash. I've stopped at a few of them, and they truly are selling trash. Ripped clothing, shoes with holes, 8 track tapes with the tape yanked out and broken, cracked glasses, etc... I'm tempted to walk over with a bag of trash some day and just leave it to see if they notice. I bet if I went back the next day I'd see a price tag on a banana peel.

Si, man (sigh, man). I feel violated when I stop at one of those. Don't waste my TIME, no man!

I've found that unadvertised sales (not in the newspaper, on Craigslist, or on the local garage-sale website) are usually worthless, but I tend to screech to a halt for them anyway, sigh man.

I am pleased to report:

1. yesterday I walked 3 miles. Sure, it took a bit over an hour, but I did it. That's the longest I've walked since the accident.

2. today, my legs muscles are sore -boo hoo.

3. I tried jogging a bit, and some jumping jacks. no pain on the knee. pain elsewhere, but not accident-able or related.

She is seeing a psychologist.

She runs over here everytime she needs help with something that her husband used to do and calls my husband her 2nd husband. I told my husband that next time she asks for help with the same thing to make her stand there and watch how he does it and to let her know that that is the last time he is going to show her.

I kinda told her off politely over the weekend. She didn't have her kids and was wondering where we had been all weekend. She said that she cannot be alone on the weekends with no kids. I politely but firmly told her that my husband and I were having alone time and that it was date weekend and that she is going to have to get used to her weekends alone.

Good for you. This woman will suck the life out of you and your husband if you don't put your foot down. She needs to go out and find other people, she's a single person now, and not part of a couple. She's not going to blend well with a married couple.
