Well, it seems I lost 9kg (19 pounds or so in Imperial) over the past 4 weeks. And I had my band fill yesterday without any major issues though it took 3 attempts for the consultant to find the entry

Glad that Mama-Mrs.TB’s visit was so awesome that TB is gonna miss her. Did she take any silverware home with her? The less there is in the house, the less you have to wash.

As always, we hid the good silverware, shhh man. Seriously, I was prepared to offer her some (she wanted 11 tablespoons, last time), but Mrs. T-B. said that Mama-Mrs.-T-B. had just bought a set and didn't need any, no man. ####### -- what shall I now do with the extra tablespoons that I'd been coagulating during the year-plus in anticipation of this now-aborted donation, huh man?

My leashed kitty got away from the teen at a rest stop part way through our trip and hid in the woods for a while because she was scared. Luckily we found her after a while. Hubby said that he was prepared to stay at the rest stop until I was ready to leave and not before. I love that man!

Being serious for a fleeting moment (gag, aack), I've firmly felt -- for a long time -- that there's a special place in hell for anyone who abandons a cat, si man.

Also, I need to get another mammogram this year so I'll prob need to take a half day for that.

Thanks for keeping us abreast of this, si man.

If'n yer gonna be cheap in the future:

1. never pay retail

2. never buy new.

3. stay away from goods made in china.

And this post also merits enshrinement in the All-Time VJ Pantheon, si Brother D man.

I'm probably back up to nearly 100 silk neckties yet again. They are all beautiful and perfect (or, with flaws visible only to me), and all bought resale. If I'm contemplating buying one that's priced higher than about $2.99, I think (and sometimes exclaim), "Who do they think they are -- Macy's?!"

I logged on late and decided to come here first (well, after starting from "the bottom" with the thrilling Site Discussion forum and those progressively atop it). It wasn't that long ago here the reaction may have been the same had they came out like that. But yes, at least a rather reactionary group appears to hate them a lot.

It's not a 'group' but they have actually passed laws against, for instance, kissing your gay lover in front of a minor.

So I'm gonna tell tiff that I need a bigger boat for the treasure that I'm gonna find. And go boat shopping......

And go fishing for swordfish?!
