in most of Canada you have to removed dented cans from shelves, and expired food. You legally cannot sell someone something that is expired. Not even at a discount. Dented cans is because of botulism.

This is criminal, and if I were anybody else (such as myself when I dated my Canadian ex-girlfriend long ago), I'd state that this is yet another reason why Canadia will remain a third-world country (duck, man). I view the finding of dented cans in the closeout section of a supermarket to be like stumbling upon an unadvertised garage sale while driving between two advertised ones, whee man. The dented can could contain sauerkraut or something that no one would willingly eat (no, man), but it could also contain something edible at a fraction of regular price, si man.

Rant: Mrs. T-B. (and, I understand, other Ecu wives) think that when a product's expiration date arrives, the product is immediately and automatically no good and must be trashed. At least one other Ecu wife thinks that this should be done on the FIRST DAY of the "expiration" month. As P.T. Barnum said, "There's a sucker born every minute, sigh man."

I know I already said it in the rant thread, but I HAVE TO repeat it...

I hate, I absolutely LOATHE and I'm disgusted when people are saying about Polish concentration camps.

Especially when such words are spoken in German TV and they com from German people.

That's just their lazy way of saying "the concentration camps that were located in Poland." People should make the effort and take the time to be precise, si man.

Rant: Mrs. T-B. habitually stores socks, clean or dirty, by stuffing one inside the other.

This makes it gross when it comes time to launder the dirty ones, ick man. One -- or both -- will come out inside-out and still wadded-up. How efficient is THAT?

Furthermore, only once during this calendar year have I perceived an even number of socks to be washed (beyond mine), meaning Mrs. T-B.'s and Mini-B.'s. Two weeks ago, I washed 5 of Mini-B.'s socks and 3 of them didn't match any of the others, no man!

Just keep the damned socks separate and throw them into the respective laundry-basket. I will keep them straight for everybody, see man!

Rant #2: Some arseclown on my floor at work always thoroughly lines the toilet seat with toilet paper before he takes his daily dump, so that his precious hindquarters do not make contact with the foul, unsanitary surface of the men's-restroom toilet (which is cleaned several times daily). However, he never pushes his #######-paper into the toilet afterwards, no man. How lowlife is THAT, huh man?

Rant #3: Self-flushing toilets. They either go off 3 times while one is doing one's business, or they fail to go off at all afterwards. How useful is THAT, huh man?

Add to this the proven reality that toilets spew bacteria into the air, and that if the toilet happens to be plugged up, one can end up with effluvium all over one's feet (and the surrounding floor) before one can react after finishing one's business, poop man.

Nah, that's just them twisting history.

Especially since they know this is a really sensitive subject here.

They think if they repeat enough times that those were Polish camps, it will become truth and somehow their responsibility for mass killing people would be lessened.

Nazi weren't aliens who suddenly appeared in Europe. They were Germans who adored Hitler and his politics. Who wanted to rule whole Europe. And it's time for Germans to understand that. Stop blaming other nations and make them equally responsible for what happened in Europe 70 years ago.

And yes, you're right - they should make an effort and be more precise.

It makes me really angry despite the fact that none of my grandparents were in concentration camps.

My two former parents-in-law were, and my uncle was.

Question, huh man: What does one call former in-laws... outlaws?

Maybe you should write a note and glue it to the toilet door.

We had a similar problem over there and it worked ;)

Maybe it's time to discipline Mrs. T-B. biggrin.png

Steve might recommend butt-forking, but I prefer wedgies, si man!

Is there a word or term in Polish for "wedgie," huh man? Must await answer in 22 hours or so, sigh man.

No one knows who does it, no man, and the traffic is too heavy to leave a note there. The maids would remove it too quickly, anyway, sigh man.

Sorry! But it's good you went to bed already. Everybody needs their beauty sleep!

The Mean Lady -

I've made stuff COVERED in fiberglass, but never solely out of fiberglass.

HINT: wear gloves, apply any liquid in open air.

Yes, that's what I'm doing.

I'm going to cover a mold in fiberglass.

I haven't decided if I'm going to make it out of paper/cardboard or foam yet.

The foam ones are actually pretty nice and look easier to make imo:

http://www.therpf.com/f24/super-sentai-forever-blue-helmets-project-foam-build-157270/

Versus the paper/cardboard versions:

http://mercs.firespray.net/forum/index.php?topic=34853.0

Plus I'm curious what the inside of my helmet would look like when I was done.

I think I'd rather have it lined w/foam over paper/cardboard lmao

Canada revenue agency is stupid

I cancelled my CCTB (Canadian Child Tax Benefit) to which the lady said also cancelled my GST credit. Guess not because my old address got one in the mail. So I'm sending it back with the change of address thing in it. /facepalm!

On the positive side, I found out WHERE I can get my Colorado driver's license, and my husband has a plate on his bike now so he can ride that, and I found a notary (at the UPS store!) Cha CHING!

I think i'm on the positive side here, despite my ovaries trying to kill me. smile.png

And I thought ovaries just try to kill the men in their lives?
