Has anyone here ever made anything out of fiberglass?

I'm going to make my gokaiger helmet with my dad's help since he works on cars for a living.

I hope it's not too hard.

I think the hardest part would be modeling the helmet out of cardboard and poster board.

If you end up cutting it make sure you wear gloves and cover up everything else. That stuff iches(sp?) forever.

Thanks for the heads up.

If my dad hadn't told me that, I would kill him.

He's done a lot of this stuff 'not' the right way over the years so he might just grin and bear it and not warn me lol

The Mean Lady -

I've made stuff COVERED in fiberglass, but never solely out of fiberglass.

HINT: wear gloves, apply any liquid in open air.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

My wife wanted crabs

This is a loaded statement to which I will resist responding, strain man.

Here is part of what I wrote after our last trip to Ecu, si man. The setting is Guayaquil.

After the mall, Mrs. T-B. looked up with her puppy-dog eyes & said wistfully "I want crabs." Resisting the urge to refer her to any Ecuatoriano, I gave in to her appeal (as always) & agreed to find crabs. We hailed a taxi, whose driver took us to a semi-indoor place called Ochipinti, where the natives were greasy from head to toe with crabs. As gracefully as anyone could, Mrs. T-B. voraciously downed 3 entire adult crabs, while I dined on rice, fried plantain, & Inca Kola. Inca Kola (available in the International aisles of larger U.S. supermarkets) looks like pale Mello Yello but has a faint taste of banana, & is very good. The entire bill (3 crabs, 4 bowls of rice, 2 bowls of plantain, 1 bag of plantain chips, & several Inca Kolas) came to a whopping $12. I paid with a $10 bill & a $2 bill. The waiter grinned at the $2 bill (the bill is good luck in Ecuador) & gave the payment to the manager, who also grinned at it. The manager looked at me & lifted the bill with a hopeful look. I had one left, which I sold to the thrilled manager for two crab-greased dollar coins.

Do not fricking tell me how I feel or how i WILL feel.

I ESPECIALLY hate that one.

How I WILL feel.

Si, man. I love the same on VJ, when someone asks whether they can skip a step or not front-load for a tough consulate or not attend the interview, and some unwashed members says "You will be fine." No, you WON'T. You'll be chewed up and spat out at the consulate.

I especially love how everything that happens at Manila (how does one spell "powderpuff"?) automatically applies everywhere else.

In hyskool, my best buddy & I made a song about fiberglass (to the tune of the Spiderman theme song, si man, ahem, harrumph):

"Fiber-glass, fiber-glass;

Something good for to wipe your a__..."
