Go catch a swordfish for me.

Oh hey, guys, guess what I saw yesterday.

I saw a groundhog.

This beast decides he's going to hop up under my hood too.

I had to rev the engine to get him to hop back out before I could leave.

Then he's sitting in the driveway, when I get back, eating the berries that fell off the tree and won't move.

I actually thought it was like a baby beaver lmao.

Hubby won't let me live it down.

There nearest swordfish is probably out at the Hudson canyon....about 90 miles by water (It's also where they go for Tuna on "wicked Tuna"). And.....I'm not going out to the Hudson canyon.....

Mmmmm.....ground...hog...

GET A SWORDFISH.

NO MORE ARGUING.

Worth the trip. Swordfish is delicious and catching it an adventure!

For me to get sword fish right now, I'd have to lug 300 gallons of gas to the boat one day (The gas docks in NYC remain closed). Then not go to sleep, start getting the gear ready at 9PM. Arrive at the boat at midnight, get underway by 2am, arrive at the canyon by 6 am (hopefully), look for fish on the east wall.....sit, or troll around all day, hope that I get a couple of fish fast, head home by 2 or 3 pm. arrive at dock by nightfall. Clean fish, clean boat. pack up, go home. By this time, I'm without sleep for 2 days. How do I know this? I've done it.

Nowadays, if I wanna go to the canyon, I charter. It's a lot easier...

actually the last time I went out there (around 2007), the weather started acting up. And soon, I found myself and several boats running for the Jersey shore (It's closer) I found my way to the Shark River inlet and found a transient marina.

After that, I came home and said to my wife "OK, you win, lets get married"

See? fishing is bad for you !

and it really takes a lot to get ready for a trip like that. Fuel, bait, tackle, provisions, etc.....

Mean lady is an expert at that......logistics...

Then get a bigger boat.

What's the problem?

Hey you guys wanna know something funny?

I was reprinting my NVC paperwork to bring along to the interview.

Filling in the new I-864 just in case they want it since the old one is expired.

As I'm copying info, I see a MULTITUDE of typos.

Incorrect amounts on my previous years.

Incorrect zip codes on my husband's address.

It was quite funny that it was accepted as is.

Or maybe it was one of those tailless beavers? I hear those guys love berries. Groundhogs, also known as woodchucks. How wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? If you have an iPhone, or a friend with one, ask Siri that question a few times.
