Approved OR Denied?

Hello Everyone...hope you are all doing good! OK, so my wife completed her 2-DAY interview (aka interrogation) at the U.S. Embassy in Manila THREE WEEKS ago! The interviewer said that the Consul will make a decision in 2 to 3 weeks. They told her that if she was approved...she will receive an email stating that her visa is approved. So far, NO EMAIL.

We have noticed in Asawa World (on facebook) that there are other couples who have been waiting 43 or more days and still no answer.

ALL documents which we submitted are legal and can be authenticated with the various departments such as NSO, Supreme Court and RTC decision by the court (because my wife had annulment before).

My documents to prove my income and support capability are also in order.

My question is....does anyone have a similar situation and how much longer before we can expect a decision?

Thank you for your assistance. Take care and God Bless!

Menchu called the US Embassy today and was told that her visa application is still undergoing Administrative Review. Three weeks has come and gone...and why are we not surprised?!

You are not alone, I had my interview three weeks ago as well, my Visa was approved and until now, nothing. I also called and they told me my papers are still under review. It might take awhile, but hopefully not over a month.

There's no way to predict how long it will take. It could take days or weeks or months. Good luck.

Hi Tahoma, Thank you for your reply... my question is why they are telling you 2 to 3 weeks and then USEM don't even notify you what is goin on? Because People like us are kept hanging and feels like were being tortured....

Hi adamjan, thanks for sharing your experience's with me..... The thing here is they tell you that you are already approve, maybe you just wait a few more days before they send you your visa, because they say that you are already approve. unlike myself, still hanging with this visa thing... Good luck to us....

We don't have children together...yet ( still tryinggood.gif ). We started our relationship back in 2010, so nearly 3 years now. We wish you much luck on your interview..you will do well! Just stay STRONG and answer their questions directly & with confidence, ok. Keep us updated and we will do the same with you. Take care and God Bless!

Yes but they are misleading, I've heard of people who were approved but stille went through administrative processing. We can only hope for the best. Praying for you! : )

Have any of you tried tracking the process online?

If your application was temporarily refused under Section 221(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, you can now check the status of your application online.
