It's not America's birthday. America is a pair of continents.

The United States of America was not formed until the ratification of the US Constitution, on June 21st, of 1788. The 4th of July is called Independence Day, however, the Colonies were not granted full independence and recognition by the United Kingdom until February of 1815, when Congress ratified the treaty of Ghent.

Then don't celebrate. Wait until next June.

I agree - Ms. Lane should be repatriated back to England.
