NOA2 8/22/13 got case number today 9/3/13.

The guy at NVC did go on to say the case is still at NVC undergoing Administrative Processing though. Is that a normal part of the process? Basically he was saying it hadn't been shipped to the Embassy yet and when they do they will mail a letter to me?

Just wondering if it's still OK to email Jamaican Embassy with the ds230 and ask for an interview date?

I called DOS number and spoke to a gentleman who states tsc is currently sending Approved k1 petitions 30 days after shipping date noted on USCIS. Anyone else get same response? I thought shipping on date notice meant exactly that?

Just got off the phone with DOS.

I gave her my USCIS receipt number. She put me on hold. Came back and asked for my name and DOB. My fiancee name and DOB.

She then gave me my NVC case #. (I haven't received hardcopy yet.) She also told me that my file was sent on 9/18.

I never received any notification that NVC received my file. I didn't get any hardcopy of the NVC case #. This is why it is important to call NVC/DOS.

I never got through to the NVC. But since NVC had sent my packet already, the DOS number had all my information.
