Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

This is strictly for K1 visas that were transferred to TSC..please do NOT comment if you did not go to TSC..we need to find out the first TSC batch that goes to NVC..please post when you get notice NVC has received your case...Thanks!!!

hi z - haven't seen you around in awhile but I see from your timeline you already had your interview and were approved - congrats! :)

3 Business days?? Really? :) that would be too great. My fiancée doesn't even wanna call before Friday. He says it'll take a week for sure, the way they work things lol

But now I can tell him you got your case number that fast!

As usual, just as I reach the stage of clinical depression...

Took into consideration the 8 day time it's been averaging to receive a case number and waited (not so) patiently over the weekend... I just called the DOS and they JUST assigned a case number!!!!

Avoided the NRC hole of despair. My Senator is still getting a mouthful from me about that problem, and I can back my info up because of what you guys post. The information and recommended actions everyone shares here keeps me sane. Many thanks. rose.gif

I also got a notice today actually stating on the 16th of Aug your petition (I129-F) was sent to NVC . I called today to see if it reached NVC and was told I had to wait 8 weeks from my Aug 6th Approval date to even begin to find out . If it was sent on the 16th of Aug why do I need to wait 7 more weeks ? Will I get notice from NVC or do I need to keep on calling them ?

They keep saying 8 weeks because they are a bit backlogged and are trying to get people not to keep calling...it usually doesn't take close to that once your case has been shipped to the NVC. I'd try back in a few days and call every few days.

Most importantly, remember it's God's timing. Not ours. I try to take the time to become the person God wants me to be.

Try to think of it this way: even if that visa was ready tomorrow, what good would it be to you without your fiance? No good.

What good would it be if you were someone who was only defined by another person? No good.

What would you be doing if you weren't waiting on it? Becoming the person you were meant to be. You are not a person who only waits around all day luv.gif

I hope this helps.

Jeannie & Al - thank you! You seem like a really positive person. Thank you for being uplifting!

I really wish I could help other petitioners battling not only the wait but the mistakes in the system :(

For those waiting months and months, I really admire and envy the strength of their relationships. I will not be able to rejoice like they will when they get to be with their loved ones :)

NVC received our package yesterday (8-19-2013) and assigned a case number that i got this morning. Hopefully will ship out soon. Someone has a way of tracking it via dhl but I can't find that info. Anyone have that info and care to share it? Thanks.
