Don't be surprised when NVC tells you to wait 8 weeks. NOA2 on July 9th and ours hasn't shipped yet. NVC quotes 8 week wait. DoS is unable to help. DoS suggested calling NVC again on Monday and then USCIS and contacting a senator.

I think the timeline should be updated to show that NVC is saying 8 weeks. It's maddening to hear over and over on here that it's a 1-2 week process when for quite a few of us it isn't.

1/31/13 - 129F Sent
2/7/13 - NOA1
** transferred with 2nd group from VSC to TSC in late June
7/9/13 - NOA2 (5 months)
8/16/13 - Shipped from TSC
9/11/13 - Packet 3
9/19/13 - Forms sent in.
9/24/13 - Medical Done
9/27/13 - CEAC Status Update
10/02/13 - DS-260 mailed in
10/15/13 - CEAC Status Update (DoS couldn't say what triggered it, did say no interview assigned, but all docs are in)
10/23/13 - Embassy email states they do not have our documents. Poor Steven does 160 again.
10/23/13 - DoS says our case is still "processing" and not "qualified" (interview ready) and to do newest forms.
11/05/13 - CEAC Update. DoS says case is "eligible for interview" and we're waiting on next interview date.
11/08/13 - Another call to DoS (Chris is a nice guy!) and no interview scheduled yet.
11/12/13 - Another call to DoS and no interview scheduled yet.
11/13/13 - Email from Embassy to Steven informing him that his interview is TOMORROW.
Hurray for Patron Saint of Immigrants - Mother Cabrini's Feast Day!

It's crazy. We got noa2 on July 25th so I'm not expecting anything soon. I've been reading timelines of individuals who got shipped to NVC and some has noa2 dates as recent as July 22. I have an opinion, and it's only an opinion, that some caseworkers come in time to time to get files to process at work from home situations. I think the quick turnarounds (for TSC anyway) are employees at the TSC and the longer waiting ones are those who process cases from home. I know they have caseworkers in VSC who work from home so I assume they do at TSC as well.

Who knows the real reason. If the above statement about VSC no longer processing I-129f's then TSC better get its act together.

Here is to hope and prayers!

Hello,

We are almost ready to send off our I-129F petition to the Dallas Lockbox (thinking of sending it to the Lewisville one by courier but not sure about that). Am I right in thinking that all new petitions are sent either to CSC or TSC, as VSC is backed up too much?

My fiance lives in Florida so I assume it would go to TSC? And will it go straight there from the lockbox or do they send it to VSC first who then pass it on?

Sorry for all the questions but it seems a bit confusing and I'm trying to get a rough estimate of how long NOA1 and NOA2 will take at this new location.

Thanks in advance!

K-1 Process:

09/03/13 - NOA1

10/22/13 - NOA2

02/25/14 - Visa Interview - Approved!

03/03/14 - Visa Received

04/08/14 - US Entry

06/05/14 - Wedding

AOS Process:

07/02/14 - NOA1s received for I-485, I-765 and I-131

07/23/14 - Early walk-in for Biometrics

09/04/14 - EAD Card Approved!

09/11/14 - EAD Card Received

02/27/15 - Greencard Approved!
03/12/15 - Greencard Received!
ROC Process:
02/07/2017 - NOA1
03/09/2017 - Biometrics
02/15/2018 - Extension Stamp in Passport at Local Office
...currently waiting...

CSC and VSC have been the only service centers for I129F but the USCIS just released a statement that all cases that would have went to VSC will go to TSC. VSC is not doing I129F anymore.

"Redirecting Form I-129F

Starting the week of July 29, 2013, USCIS began redirecting all newly filed Forms I-129F from the VSC to the TSC. The receipt notice will bear a TSC receipt number beginning with SRC. The case will be processed by the TSC. The CSC will continue receiving Forms I-129F."

NOA1 Feb 21. Transfered VSC to TSC June 21. NOA2 July 12. We haven't got case number yet. NVC hasn't received our file. They don't know where our file is or where our file is transfered. USCIS said my fiance call to Consolate, no need to call to NVC :D. She said many mistakes in our system hahahah.

My fiance sent emails, mailed to NVC, USCIS, and sent email to senator. What happening then, we have to wait and see :)

How long has it taken for most people from the shipping notice to NVC receiving it? I'm seeing around a week? I'm already at 11 days (or maybe 7, since I got another notice that it shipped 4 days after the first shipped notice...) and the NVC says they don't have it yet!

Thanks. Maybe if it did get shipped on the 8/6 instead of 8/2 they'll have it tomorrow. But if it did get shipped on 8/2, count me worried again...
