Just got our case number today. At least it shows they're assigning case numbers within a day or two of recieving them.

We're still waiting as well. So is everyone from TSC as far as I know.

We just got off the phone to the Department of State. They told us it's still a bit early, and generally it takes 30-60 days, although the average at the moment is around 30 days and to call back next

Have any TSC transfers had their interview yet?

Ours is on Monday!

Not yet Dustin - we are anxiously waiting - our medical was last Friday..London is taking awhile.

we need to start calling morning and night for next 2 days. we should get numbers thursday or friday.

I agree!!! I hope we get it this week.

VSC to TSC transfer june21

NOA2 July 3

File transferred to NVC july 24

case number given July 31.

Now on with the show!

I have a question. Is the NVC supposed to send a notice of when they received the petition and what my case number is?

No, they will not send anything. The embassy should notify the beneficiary once they receive it, but depending on the embassy and the local country's post service, this might never arrive either.

1/10/13 - NOA1 to VSC | 1/11/13 - Text/Email | 1/17/13 - Hard Copy Received
1/16/13 - Alien Registration Number changed
5/24/13 or 5/29/13 - Case Transferred to TSC
7/2/13 - NOA2 from TSC! (173 days from NOA1) | 7/6/13 - Hard Copy Received
7/18/13 - Shipped to NVC | 7/26/13 - Received at NVC and case number assigned
7/29/13 - In transit to consulate | 7/31/13 - Received by consulate
8/20/13 - Medical - Passed | 8/21/13 - Interview - Approved!

how long after getting case number, until your file was at ukraine embassy? We want to try to get medical on the 12th and interview on 16th.

Got case number on Friday, they shipped it out to the embassy on Monday, it arrived on Wednesday, and the status shows ready since then.

What I find interesting is that DHL shows it being picked up in Boston. I guess someone every day drives the daily shipment to the DHL office in Boston?

It is picked up in Portsmouth,NH. The DHL service facility is in Boston.
