Just got our case number today. At least it shows they're assigning case numbers within a day or two of recieving them.

We're still waiting as well. So is everyone from TSC as far as I know.

We just got off the phone to the Department of State. They told us it's still a bit early, and generally it takes 30-60 days, although the average at the moment is around 30 days and to call back next

Wow, only today? that seems like a rediculous delay.

05/01/2011 - Met online
09/15/2011 - Met in person
11/12/2011 - Became engaged
07/09/2012 - Finally got to put His Ring on my finger

03/03/2015 - Apparently we are still within normal processing times and need to wait 87 days

04/27/2015 - RFE - Renew medical, Send some other documents

05/04/2015 - Medical redone

05/07/2015 - RFE request sent back to USCIS

05/08/2015 - RFE request received at USCIS

05/11/2015 - Green card IN PRODUCTION!!!!

05/11/2015 - Welcome letter Mailed!

05/14/2015 - Welcome Letter Received

05/18/2015 - Green Card Received!! FINALLY!!!!

My file was supposedly shipped from TSC to NVC on 7/24. NVC/DOS says they don't have it yet. I hope it arrives this week.

Did you call DOS at 202.663.1225 to get your case number? They shipped mine on 7/26 and I can't wait, so I'm calling tomorrow and use my sweet charm. I'll keep you posted :-) lol

Our NOA2 is on July 12, 2013, and received same answer when my fiancee called to NVC or DOS. NVC hasn't received our file yet. Why another case is approved on July 16th but they knew their file received NVC on July 26? We don't know the way they're working. The other cases in CSC are approved too fast, And they received their case number after NOA2 only 2 weeks :(

And I want to know why USCIS gave us expiration date (on NOA2), but they work slowly, and when our file come to consular, they work slowly again, so our interview date is not in this circle (I meant out of expiration date).

I got my NOA2 on July 26. I am not sure when I should start calling but I am thinking of calling, just in case. We are shooting for an interview in September, if at all possible.
