We just got off the phone to the Department of State. They told us it's still a bit early, and generally it takes 30-60 days, although the average at the moment is around 30 days and to call back next

I received my case number after being transferred 8 days ago.

12/26/12 * I-129F mailed out

12/28/12 * I-129F received and signed

01/02/13 * NOA1

01/07/13 * Alien registration # changed

05/24/13 * Transferred to TSC

05/30/13 * Now transferred to my local office

06/03/13 * Hardcopy of transfer notice received with new receipt date (now 12/31/12)

06/05/13 * Infopass at local USCIS. Was told that petition is in Vermont (so the system says). As for Me: Keeping my faith

06/19/13 * RFE email received

06/29/13 * RFE hardcopy received (asking for letter of intent to marry from both)

07/02/13 * RFE mailed out

07/03/13 * RFE received in TX

07/05/13 * USCIS update "Review for RFE"

07/10/13 * NOA2 (email) God is GREAT

07/18/13 * NOA2 hardcopy recieved

07/22/13 * Case sent to NVC (new case # to be assigned)

No not yet. I am the American anyway. He is still waiting for his police papers so I guess when he gets those he will schedule it. How long is it to get an appointment?

Well I booked my medical on the 26th july and the closest medical date i could get was the 13th august but they said they get cancellations all the time, as u can imagine. I would go ahead and book it to be honest, and get yourself a slot as theres a couple of weeks waiting list xx

July 3 NOA2. Shipped from TSC to NVC july 24. Still no record of it being at NVC. Waiting sucks.

I bet you it will be logged at NVC on the 2nd august ;)

My NOA2 from Texas (Transferred from VSC) is July 10th. Still waiting for a Case Number. I keep calling everyday. I am amazed by the efficiency of the whole process. Vermont to Texas, Texas to NVC, NVC to Assign Case#, NVC to embassy. This is how things work in this department... ridiculous.

Mine now shows ready - received by consulate!

I tracked it via DHL and it was received today.

The NVC turnaround was extremely quick. They received it on Friday, assigned case number that day, and shipped it out the next business day (on Monday). For tracking in DHL I even had to use Friday's date for the reference number, but it was picked up only on Monday. I assume they were done with it on Friday, but it was after the DHL pick-up time, so it was shipped out on Monday.

1/4/13 - I129-F Sent | 1/8/13 - Received by USCIS
1/10/13 - NOA1 to VSC | 1/11/13 - Text/Email | 1/17/13 - Hard Copy Received
1/16/13 - Alien Registration Number changed

December 31, 2012: Petition received

January 2, 2013: NOA1

January 8, 2013: Officially engaged <3

May 30, 2013 : Transferred VSC to TSC

June 26, 2013 (175 days) : NOA2

July 22, 2013 (26 days) : Sent to NVC

July 30, 2013 : Arrived at NVC

July 30, 2013 (8 days) : Received case number

August 9, 2013 : Fiance received packet 3

August 15, 2013 : Medical

September 26, 2013 : Interview : AP additional medical information needed

October 11, 2013 : 2nd Medical appointment

October 31, 2013: 2nd Medical report picked up by Embassy courier

November 21, 2013: 2nd Medical report received and our case with with an officer for review

January 17, 2014: Refused (found inadmissible)

Filing a waiver to lift the inadmissibility....

What I find interesting is that DHL shows it being picked up in Boston. I guess someone every day drives the daily shipment to the DHL office in Boston?
