Anyone from TSC K1 fiance please comment when you get a case number!!

I thought I read somewhere to start calling the NVC, in one week, the rep I spoke to said it could be weeks before we get a number???

They will say that but I was told the same thing and next day I got numbers after being approved on 7-2

My Case now says it is in transit ... on the website at the NVC. So hopefully it will show at embassy then I can call the embassy to get interview date and paperwork submitted to them...because the NVC never did ask for any paperwork.. .strange.

I had to wait 3 weeks before getting transferred to NVC from TSC. NOA2 July3. transfer to NVC july24

How do you find out when they ship it from TSC to NVC. Do you get an email or get notified? Or do you just keep checking the USCIS site? Right now we are in "post decision activity" and it says we have mailed you a notice. What type of wording change do I need to look for on the site? Thanks for your help. Being so much closer but still waiting is all part of the game I guess.

In my case I got a text message, e-mail and the USCIS site was updated.

On July 24, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

OK July 3 NOA2 . Shipped from TSC to NVC july 24. Today I call and was told not in building yet. How long should I wait before calling? OR How long is it taking for them to put into system??

I was wondering the same thing--mine was shipped out on the 26th and I am eagar to call them asap to get that case number!!

6/21/13: Case transferred to TSC
7/6/13: NOA2 (confirmed per immigration officer on 7/16)
7/24/13: Service request submitted by USCIS officer due to no NOA2

hard copy received
7/26/13: Post Decision Activity--petition shipped to DOS

From what I have seen from other members it is taking around 10 days.

Is it just me or does TSC seem to be speeding up on getting files to NVC? Maybe they worked out the bugs, or I am just being hopeful. It seems to be quicker for people approved starting around the middle of July. We shall see soon enough for all of us waiting I guess. We just got approved Thursday the 25th and they mailed us NOA2 the 26th per USCIS site. So its not like I expected to have it already, just not ready for another extended wait. Especially since we have about 90% of everything ready for the interview.

Oh God, have you spoke to a Tier 2 to see what the holdup was? I can only assume that they send these all in bulk to NVC so yours has to be sitting somewhere. I have seen reports of people who have never been notified via email or text and never had the USCIS website update and the darn thing has been to NVC and off to the embassy already. I hope they figure out what is going on soon for you.

That is crazy!!! I would talk to someone higher up. My NOA2 was July 8, 2013 and my case has already been sent to NVC!!! I would put pressure on someone to get your case sent ASAP!!!! I hope it happens soon for you.
