Tts great to see so many vsc to tsc transfers getting their case numbers. It appears the average wait from nvc approval to case # is about a week. This makes me very happy as my petition was sent to nvc on 7/19

Great news today. Called the NVC and we got our case number. I tried to call yesterday but rang busy all day so first thing this am I called and they received our resubmitted info yesterday. We can finally start the next step.. Totally excited and my heart is racing. If everything goes smooth I'm guessing he would be here definitely by October or even September. Still keeping fingers crossed for everyone else and hoping you get the same great news as us.

Some TSC have been getting case numbers without getting the email notice first? Guess I'll start calling for case number soon.

Not that I know of. VSC and CSC do not update the status when they send it out. As far as I saw, everyone from TSC first got an update that it was transferred to DoS, and then a few days later NVC received it.

Just making sure TSC is still sending out notices and anyone from TSC that got a NVC number did receive a notice first. My NOA2 will be 2 weeks old tomorrow and still no notice.

Hi there- I got the email from TSC about them reaffirming our case and sending it to DOS but I never got another email after that if that's what you're asking? My NOA2 was 6/25 and it took 3 weeks for them to ship it and another three days to assign a number so I'm thinking NVC should have it by next week.

I called the DoS (202 663-1225) after the NVC rep said we did not have a case number, and lo and behold we actually had a case number and our case had been shipped to Montreal. 188 days so far.

We're both traveling back home (NC and ON) from Florida today, which will probably be Allanah's last trip stateside before POE.

Yes, the notice I mentioned was the reaffirming of the case and sending it to DOS. I haven't gotten that notice yet so I must still be stuck in TSC.

then a second email saying, "we mailed you a document......."

I spent the next 3 hours on hold and the lady said the updates were most likely a mistake. I asked if my application was sent to the NVC and she said it was right after the NOA2 approval notice.

Called NVC ....... Still waiting for NVC case#

Finally got my case number today (exactly one month from my June 19th NOA2 date!) I called NVC yesterday and they said they just received it so to call back in a couple weeks. PFFFT and I called back today and got the number! It was sent to NVC July 11th. Hopefully it wont take long to get to the embassy. Good luck to all those still waiting, your time is coming up!
