They will probably email you and ask you to fax them evidence that proves your financial hardship. The final wait to receive the work authorization and greencard is certainly frustrating! I hope they expedite it for you. Fingers crossed!

Thanks. It's quite difficult to prove financial hardship. I don't have a job and haven't for 10 months due to the delay in the K1 process. Obviously, our household can run on my husband's wages as demonstrated in our Affidavit of Support but it would run a darn site better on two wages! And I would feel productive and contributing. We will see if the expedite helps or not.

Received text and emails for the approval of AP (I-131) and EAD (I-765) is in card production. Hoping for a miracle turnaround to be able to travel Friday because my sisters wedding is Saturday!

No news on an interview date yet. Thursday will mark 30 days, so I will call USCIS as per their instructions, and hope I can get through to a tier 2 person to find out what's up, but I am just happy to at least be going back to work, and to travel home for the first time almost 2 years!

@Sahara24: I wonder if you may not recieve EAD/AP because of how soon your interview is now? Still hoping it will come though!

I actually received a letter from USCIS today asking me to fax them proof of my job offer. I've done that, so the wait continues. Still nothing changed regarding an interview - my biometric appointment was 6 weeks ago. I'm now wondering whether I'm going to be part of the 50% who don't get interviewed? I would rather have an interview so as to get my GC quicker.

I got a text MSG and Email status update to card production for EAD on friday @ 7.45 PM

Then on saturday I got a text MSG and Email status update to Post Decision Activity AP @ 10:15 AM

I believe I will go to my interview next week without them.

Update:

Congrats to everyone getting their interviews times and hearing news about EAD/AP cards!

General info:

Called National USCIS 9/6 after 30 days of not hearing about an interview date after being updated to "Testing and Interview" 08/07. Was forwarded to tier 2, and spoke with an officer to ask some questions. Was able to find out that the date that will appear on the EAD/AP combo card that was in production will be September 3rd (date I first received an email/text update) and that it was valid from that date for a year. Thus I went back to work this morning after a 6 weeks hiatus without an EAD!

No news on an interview date (what I actually called for) she just said that it may take a while and that there are many people waiting in line before me.

I asked whether I could leave the US now without abandoning AOS to attend a wedding without first receiving the card and have it forwarded to me, she said that I could because I was approved, but after hearing varying opinions on the matter, reading CBP brochure and docs, and considering that each individual officer might have their own opinion and the vested power to use it, I decided to miss the wedding and wait for the physical document (EAD/AP) combo card in the mail before travelling. Hoping the card arrives this week, happily back to work, and waiting on either an interview or notice of Green card approval.

My status updated at 11:00am today to say 'Card in Production'! So expediting the EAD because of a job offer did help.

They only asked for proof of job offer, not proof of financial hardship.

BTW - I've just realized that I've been posting my progress in the wrong area - I'm AOSing from a family visa (K1) not W,S or T visa. Sorry!

I got a notice for "EAD card production" today. My status was moved from initial review to "interview and testing" on August 30 and still no schedule for the interview in the mail. I'm hoping it'll arrive within this week or next , hopefully not later than next week! I'm getting antsy just waiting for these notices to arrive. At least the EAD is coming soon, maybe by next week and I can start applying for a license and an SSN number. That'll keep me busy while I wait for the interview schedule!
