Biometrics appt scheduled for 08/01/2013. Received the letter two weeks ago, but that was just before my daughter was born, so no early walk-in attempt for us!

AOS

07/01/2013 Sent I-485/I-130/II-765/I-131 USPS Priority certified mail to USCIS Chicago Lockbox

Day 1: 07/03/2013 USPS package delivery receipt online

Day 9: 07/11/2103 Received NOA1 texts and email confirmations from G-1145 AOS package cover page

Day 10: 07/12/2013 Received I-797C hardcopy NOA1's in the mail for all forms submitted

Day 14: 07/16/2013 Received Biometrics appt. Notice for 08/01/2013 appointment

Day 30: 08/01/2013 Biometrics completed

Day 36: 08/07/2013 Received text and email alerts that I-485 has been updated to testing and interview. Awaiting hard copy appointment notice.

Day 63: 09/03/2013 Received text and email alerts that I-765 (EAD) is in card production, and that I-131 has been approved and a letter mailed to that extent

Day 66: 09/06/2013 Received 2nd text and email alerts for I-765 card production (a duplicate of the first?)

Day 69: 09/09/2013 Received 3rd text and email alerts for I-765 card production: card in the mail (no tracking number given)

Day 71: 09/11/2013 Received USPS delivered envelope with EAD combo card also serves as "I-512 Advance Parole" in the mail.

Seems pretty quick these days, mine took 6 days, but others have shown up to three weeks between. Check out the Processing times link. And don't get your hopes up when it finally changes to "Testing

So here's my timeline:

AOS packet assembled and sent (via overnight mail) July 15

Received 10:00 a.m. July 16

NOA via email and text through G-1145, 3 days after on July 18

NOA received in mail July 22

Notice of Biometrics Appointment received in mail July 25

Appointment date set for August 13 at the Denver field office

How long does it take before EAD is released on average? I'm assuming it won't be too long after Biometrics right?

If you fill in your timeline, VJ gives you an estimation for AP and EAD based upon the timelines of others. But from what I've been seeing, it seems to be around the 65 day mark. Hope it is sooner though, for you, for me, and for everyone else around here!

Update from me:

Sent AOS paperwork to Chicago Lockbox on 15 July

Received by Chicago on 16 July

Received e-mails and texts on 19 July

Received NOA1 hard copies on 22 July

Received biometrics appointment on 26 July for 13 August, so going to try a walk-in on Tuesday. Not that hopeful as Naperville, IL don;t always seem to allow walk-ins but as it's only 20 minutes away, I will chance it to potentially knock 2 weeks off.

Any updates for you two???

I mailed my I-130, 485, 765, and 131 July 19. Delivered to Chicago Lockbox July 22.

No notifications so far.

08/08/2013 - received biometrics letter (appointment for 08/14) via mail, without any e-mail or text message notifications;

08/14/2013 - done with biometrics;

08/22/2013 - I-485 online status updated to "Testing and Interview";

08/28/2013 - I-485 online status says " On August 28, 2013, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for October 4, 2013...";

08/30/2013 - received notification for an Interview on October 04 2013, 8:30 am via mail;

09/23/2013 - I-765 online status updated to "Card/Document Production";

09/28/2013 - received EAD card;

10/04/2013 - interview day - approved on spot!

10/17/2013 - received my green card via mail

Any news???

I sent my package on 18 July via USPS (Post Office), it was delivered in Chicago on 22 July. And still don't have any notifications so far :(((

No. nothing. For the email Alerts it has my lawyers email but regardless I have not been informed of anything.

Others have been receiving NOA In mail 8-9 days after delivery so since ours were delivered last Monday the 22nd let's get worried only after this upcoming Wednesday

August 21,2013:Biometrics done.

September 03, 2013 : Email/Text notification for I-485, stating that it is in the "Testing and Interview" stage.

September 25,2013:Card production ordered for EAD.

October 3,2013: EAD card mailed.

October 5, 2013: EAD card received

November 27th,2013:received text ,e-mail notification for interview date for Jan .3rd

Hey guys so I went to do my biometrics today they allowed me to do a walk in it was an hour wait.

so whats the next steep now?

My time line

July 12 package received at USCIS

July 16: 11.53 pm Email and text received

July 20: NOA by mail

July 26: Biometrics letter for 08/13/2013

July 30: biometrics walk in
