AOS based on a marriage with US citizen:

06/06/2012 - last entry in USA on J1 visa;

05/06/2013 - got married;

07/18/2013 - sent the package (I-130, I-485, I-765);

07/23/2013 - USCIS received the package;

07/29/2013 - received notifications for acceptance via e-mails and text messages;

08/02/2013 - received notifications for acceptance via mail;

08/08/2013 - received biometrics letter (appointment for 08/14) via mail, without any e-mail or text message notifications;

08/14/2013 - done with biometrics;

08/22/2013 - I-485 online status updated to "Testing and Interview";

08/28/2013 - I-485 online status says " On August 28, 2013, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for October 4, 2013...";

08/30/2013 - received notification for an Interview on October 04 2013, 8:30 am via mail;

09/23/2013 - I-765 online status updated to "Card/Document Production";

09/28/2013 - received EAD card;

10/04/2013 - interview day - approved on spot!

10/17/2013 - received my green card via mail

Seems pretty quick these days, mine took 6 days, but others have shown up to three weeks between. Check out the Processing times link. And don't get your hopes up when it finally changes to "Testing

I got my EAD today!!!

68 days since priority day (08/01/2013).

08/01/2013 (1 day) - USCIS received my application

08/12/2013 (12 days)- I received Biometrics appointment notice via mail

08/29/2013 (29 days)- Biometrics Walk-in

09/05/2013 (37 days)- Received online notifications of I-485 application changed to Testing & Interview

09/25/2013 (57 days)- AED in production

10/07/2013 (68 days)- AED in my hands

10/11/2013 (72 days) received Interview date on Nov 18 2013.

Got my Combo Card today. 69 days of waiting!

July 25,2013--USCIS received my AOS packaet

July 31, 2013-Email/text notication from USCIS

August 1, 2013- Check encashed

August 5, 2013-Received NOA1's in the mail.

August 9,2013- Received my Biometric Appointment Notice in the mail.dancin5hr.gif

August 15, 2013. Done with my biometric..(walk-in in Local USCIS in Philadelphia)

October 2, 2013- Approved EAD and AP.
October 13, 2013-Recevied my Combo Card( EAD and AP) through mail.

November 14, 2013- Received a Letter of Potential Waiver Interview in the mail.

January 14, 2014- Approved Green Card date. Anniversary date of my 2-year Green Card.

January 23, 2014- Received my green card in the mailbox.

Reminder:

I have to apply for ROC of my 2 year green card within October 20, 2015 to December 2015.

had my interview at San Antonio, TX. We had very nice guy. The interview lasted maybe 10 minutes. I was expecting hard questions due to us being young and do not live together atm. He asked few facts about the living situations and that was it. He told me i was approved on the spot. Online status states Card in production ! :)

Day 23 8/14/2013- RFE on I-864

Day 36 8/27/2013- RFE documents Sent

Day 44 9/3/2013 USCIS receives the RFE and status changed to RFE review

Nice! Congratulations jinah! Your wait is over for now, at least until ROC in 2 years.

I unfortunately have 1 whole month before my interview sched. I finally received a notice of interview in the mail after 64 days of being in "testing and interview" status. My schedule is December 3. I was hoping I'd be done by November but I'm not complaining, still faster than most with interview waivers that are in over 3 months without any word from USCIS.

My interview schedule arrived 104 days after the initial receipt of my packet and 78 days after biometrics, not too bad of a wait.

my wife got i485 approved in Nov. 21 without interview. July 12,2013--USCIS received her AOS packet. (k1 came to USA in June)

HEY ! TODAY ....AFTER 158 OF FILED,AND AFTER 4MONTHS OF "TESTING @ INTERVIEW" I RECEIVE MY INTERVIEW NOTICE FOR JANUARY 23TH!!!!

Off topic... I just wanted to know how everyone is doing post the GC hustle. Hope all have settled into their new lives and I guess we'll be bugging each other in 2 years, come time for ROC. Good luck to all and cheers!
