Hello. Just checked the uscis site and it says our application is approved, so I guess we got NOA2, only 42 days after NOA1. We're very excited, but I keep checking it to make sure it wasn't a mistake. I'm a little concerned that this isn't real, and the site just says it by accident somehow. Anyone else out there getting approvals? I'm thinking we'll be seeing some approvals for the people that were transferred from vsc to tsc if this is for real.

That's a bummer...Someone got their NOA2 yesterday. They filed on 7/30...they were approved in 29 days...wow...so naturally I went to check if my front loaded petition was touched...no luck for me unsure.png ...

I know exactly what you mean. I think cos I wasn't expecting anything til the end of the year, then soooo many people started getting NOA2s, I started to get impatient and wondered where mine was :P

I think that our files must be in a box which hasn't been touched yet. I think if our box had been taken off the shelf, they would have scanned it in which would show up as a "touch". I feel sad thinking of my poor file sat all sad on some shelf somewhere in Texas :P

As I understand it, a touch literally just means that someone has touched the file. This link is super informative:

Says that the adjudicators scan each file in a box when they pick one and take it to their desk, when they start working on it, if they make a decision etc. So I see it as every time a file is physically touched, it gets scanned and it shows up as a virtual touch on the system.
