Our packet was delivered last July 3. We just got our NOA 1 today thru snail mail. Yay!! The date on our receipt was July 8 and we got the notification after 5 days (which is totally fine. ^_^) We got Vermont Service Center. My fiance and I are very excited and relieved that we are done with this step. Thank you, Lord! ^_^

Did any other July 2013 K-1 filers get a notice that their case has been transferred? Our NOA1 date is 07/11/13, and got the transfer notice yesterday 08/06/13.

yes, everyones case gets transfered. We got transfered the day after getting our noa1 I think...

me.. im july filer.. july 9 sent pocket . july 12 acceptance.. july 16 notice date(noa1) july 22 alien registration number was change, july 24 got the hardcopy of noa1 on my f mail.. then now

On August 6, 2013, we transferred your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed.

August 10, 2013----------- NOAT hardcopy recieved by mail it indicate transfer to texas.

August 23, 2013----------- Status regarding I-129f is APPROVED!!!

August 30, 2013----------- NOA2 Hardcopy recieved by mail.

August 30, 2013----------- Status regarding that they shipped the approved or re-affirmed case to the department of state for visa processing.

September 09, 2013-------- My fiance called nvc hotline today sept 12, 213 at 12 mdnight here. and sept 11, 2013 at 12 nn in usa.. then

finally got our mcn.. the lady said it was recieved by nvc sept 09..

September 16, 2013-------- NVC LETTER recieved by mail.

OATH TAKING = september 18, 2018 in springfield armory, massachusetts officer gave me the oath schedule right after the interview. he told me to wait outside and sit and wait for the paper for the sched interview.
FIELD OFFICE= The Whitcomb Building in Springfield MA.( was under lawrence, massachusetts field office)
The officer who interviewed me told that they do 2x a month interview at The whitcomb building in springfield Ma but they are from laurence , MA field office.

NOA: Receipt Notice Date Printed on your official I-797 notification
Fprints: Date assigned for fingerprinting (Bio-metrics)

Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview
Interview: Date of your interview
Oath: Date Oath taken

Field Office: Your local USCIS office where you will have the N-400 interview

Hello July filers! I got the same message yesterday that our application was transferred from VSC. I'm hoping this means that we don't have to wait the 5+ months for our decisions. Fingers crossed!!

Hi all. We filed on July 5th and got noa1 on July 12th. We haven't got notification that the Alien Registration number was changed yet. It seems like all this usually happens within in a week or two. Have amy of the other July filers gotten notification that theirs has been changed? Is it a bad sign that this is going to be a loooooooonnnnggg wait?

No, I didn't call uscis yet. I just checked the site and we were transferred to the local office on August 6. So, not sure why they wouldn't have changed the alien registration number. Has anyone else had this happen?

After our alien registration number was changed, we did a LOT of research on it.. There seems to be some debate over it on this forum, but after a full day of reading and researching, there is not a time frame for when you get an alien registration #. If you get a notification that you have been asigned one before the noa2, it's not technically your # until you are approved.

As for people getting transfered a second time, you were all transfered from VA to CA? Our case was sent there first. I wonder if that's why we weren't transfered??
