It's most likely a mistake by whoever keyed it into the computer. I think the green card has your thumbprint on it so how could you be receiving it without fingerprinting?

i called the uscis after i saw my status the agent said i might have records of fingerprints before like on my port of entry which i do had as i remember when i entered hawaii as my port of entry.. i also want to add 3 days after i filed my aos i called my congressman for help to expedite my case due to medical situation of my husband.. so maybe that helped to i dont know..

OP expedited her application, she called USCIS and was told she's approved and that the fingerprinting she had on her POE might be the one used for her case. Is that possible? She is more likely confused than excited. Anyone have experienced this?

This is strange. Your timeline says that you sent your AOS/EAD/AP package on May 30th, so it's been more than a month right? Not 15 days. Are you sure it's your green card and not your EAD/AP card? Anyways, you need biometrics for the EAD also.

Everybody have their fingerprints taken at POE, but you still need to go to a biometrics appointment to be issued an EAD/green card.

Have you talked to the first person when calling the USCIS or did you actually asked to a Tier 2? The first persons you talked to are usually NOT knowledgeable.

You should call and ask to speak to a Tier 2 person. No one here can know for sure if you are approved or if it's a mistake.
