CR1 weigh more than K1?

Would a CR1 spouse visa have more weight / validity than a K1? Our fiancé visa was denied (not convinced of relationship) and we want to try again. We know the marriage one is typically longer in time to process, but I am wondering if it provides a better chance and evidence that we are for real and in it for the long haul.

We are leaning toward the CR1 now instead of another fiancé visa, and just wanted to research your thoughts

Not necessarily. You'd have a marriage certificate, but they will still want other evidence to show your relationship is genuine. What other new evidence would you include?

What did you supply for evidence the first time?

No.

Edit: Especially since you visited once only. If you marry on your second visit, after a denied K-1, then it will not look good.

Yours is the one of the one visit and he was in India and all that right?

First getting married doesn't solve all your issues. For high fraud embassies (Like Nigeria, me) and MENA countries its about face time nothing will take the place of that. You have shown alot of evidence but made mistakes to show them you aren't serious (I am thinking like a CO and what you have said in other thread). But a visit to see your fiance' spend some time, a few weeks marry sure, but you still have to convince you are in a legitimate relationship and not make them think u just got married to make it look like. You h

ave to say to yourself besides getting married what new evidence do we have to show the CO. have you meet his family, close friends. That is vital.

Oh well we plan on showing new photos, old photos, email docs, travel receipts, visa stamps boarding pass, marriage cert, Skype logs, yahoo logs, phone logs, hotel bills, parents letter of support, friends letters of support, proofs of family interaction, ring receipts, my mom consigned last time, I'm sure she will again, and I will stay with him up to the interview, provide proofs I am there physically to support us. If I can think of other items I will include. And instead of printing out examples like the 15th of every month, I will print out every day! I can't afford to miss anything this time.
