Received a call from Juarez USCIS this morning to let me know that my I-130 for DH was approved and was being sent to state department!! Very good service since I called last week to make sure I had sent everything correctly and the agent was kind enough to look and confirm they had all the documentation and were just pending the security check.

Is this NOA1 or NOA2 on timeline?

I'm hoping we can get a case number and an interview quickly so that we can all settle in together in the states before school starts.

NOA2! Congrats!

NOA1 is the receipt date, NOA2 is they date the approve the petition.

You will receive a letter from them stating the I-130 is approved. It will be your NOA1. You will receive a letter from CDJ stating everything is approved and to schedule your interview. That will be your NOA2. Congratulations on your progress so far.

NOA1 has nothing to do with approvals. It's receipt date.

The approval letter from USCIS is NOA2.

The letter you describe with instructions is "Packet 3".

The interview date invite letter is "Packet 4"
