We filed our I-129F and it was accepted on 3/22/13; based on the timeline we might get our approval between July 7, 2013 and July 11, 2013. Anxiously awaiting a RFE or approval, any communication at this point.

We filed and were accepted 3/22/13; according to this site its looking like we might possibly hear something between July 7, 2013 and July 11, 2013. How accurate have the predictions been on here? Anyone around my dates get approved yet? Anxiously awaiting any news at this point...

I think yours will come soon. It probably just means that yours was set aside on the adjuctator's desk for a bit while going through easier ones. It's known that they do that regularly.

Interoffice Memorandum
To: SERVICE CENTER DIRECTORS
From: Michael Aytes /S/
Acting Associate Director for Operations
United States Citizenship and Immigration Services
Department of Homeland Security
Date: November 1, 2005
Re: Guidance for Processing Pending Form I-129F Petition for Alien Fiancé(e) when
G-325A for Petitioner and/or Beneficiary is not Signed and/or Photos not Submitted.
Purpose
To provide field offices with guidance on processing Form I-129F petitions when the accompanying G-325A is missing signatures and/or photographs.
A properly executed Form G-325A is required for all I-129F petitions. Previously it was standard practice to issue an RFE when the beneficiary failed to sign the G-325A and/or failed to submit photographs. From the date of this memorandum, an RFE should not be issued in instances where the beneficiary failed to sign the G-325A and/or failed to include photographs provided that the beneficiary is residing abroad. The beneficiary will be required to sign the Form G-325A and/or submit photographs at the time of visa issuance abroad. It is also not necessary to RFE for the petitioner’s signature on the G-325A, if the petitioner failed to sign it. The signature of the petitioner on the Form I-129F should be deemed sufficient for purposes of adjudicating the petition. Finally, it is important to note that the petitioner’s photograph is still required for the adjudication of the I-129F, so if it is missing, it must be requested prior to adjudication.
Questions regarding this memorandum may be directed through appropriate channels to Mica Pilz of Service Center Operations.

Wow congratulations. smile.png. Why did you get such an early approval? Do they expedite Sanas Yemen petitions?

Thanks:) and I'm not really sure but maybe it has to do with how much effort i put into it. I really worked to make it as perfect as possible and provided them with everything they needed and even more so maybe that helped:/

Hahaha expedite? You mean make more hectic and longer? Everyone i know has been given the hardest time... most have been waiting for years for an NO2. But i dont know why mine was approved so fast:/

No expedite is a request to get yours processed faster than others - in other words, skip to the front of the line so to speak. There are certain situations where you can request this, such as being in the military. So I was wondering if you requested an expedite as to the reason why yours was processed so early.

Yeah i got what you meant but no, nothing of that sort was requested. I filled a normal K1 visa.

I think it has to do with the fact your fiance is from Yemen. I was doing a bit of research on the human rights violations there and do know that certain countries get expedited out of concern for that.

There has been some real movement today for March at CSC. I've been tracking around 275 K1 fiancé visa applications on the same day, the day before or the day after mine (NOA1 March 12).

Int the last two days there has been loads of work done,(approvals or rfe's on 44 of them! Just july 9th and 10th.

That's a major increase from the last 3 weeks or so!

Correct. I saw that just from looking at Igor's, as we have 5 approvals or RFEs just today. The past couple weeks it had only been 2-3, and none at this early a time of the evening.

Seems a few adjuctators have returned to processing i-129Fs - a good sign for all of us. :)
