It has been 9 months since our son's case has been at National Benefits Center. I contacted my congress rep. 3 weeks ago and after hearing nothing for three weeks, i decided to call customer service and speak to a tier 2 person. After waiting 2 hours on the phone, i finally got to talk to an IO who told me my case was transferred to Atlanta Field Office and has been there since November. I called back my congress rep. and told him what the IO told me. Yesterday my congress rep. sent us an email that his contacts have confirmed that the case was approved yesterday and sent out to NVC. However when i check MY case Status it is still on Initial Review..wth?? I have an infopass interview scheduled for next week and i don't wanna cancel as yet until i know for a fact the case has been approved. Has anyone ever gotten approved and your status still says Initial Review?
