Well guess what got optimized this morning! Maybe going to the office tripped the system? Who knows...

Funny story, my husband and I were walking out of the pub Saturday (Arsenal won, YAY) and the same Immigration Officer from Friday was walking in with his lady friend!

5/21/2016: Mailed I-751 packet to CSC

5/23/2016: NOA1

7/29/2016: Biometrics Appointment

11/22/2016: I-751 Approved!

Great news, congrats! My husband's green card optimized 2 months and 3 days after his POE, and another UK VJer had an almost identical timeline to us... maybe it's a London thing  Either way, glad to hear you're almost done! Won't be long now until he has it in hand

POE was 2 months and 2 days ago LOL

I'm interested to see if the green card shows POE as August 18 or August 25.

Oh btw do you know that you can check your case status without logging in?

Just go to Check your case status and enter your receipt number from your ELIS profile, mine starts from IOE##########.

So the Immigration Officer was correct; it's all sent in batches to TSC, we must have been in the same batch as we got optimized the same day!

Hello everyone,

I'm Dan, and I am new to this forum. I started following it because I had become concerned about the length of time it was taking for my green card to be produced. The hopeless ELIS systems still says I am "pending", since the day I paid the fee (before entering the US), and I haven't received any other correspondence.

I entered the US on 11th October at Washington Dulles, and exactly a week to the day received by SSN in the post. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks since entry and I am still "pending" since 1st October when I paid the fee.

I have looked through everyone else's stories on here, and realise that actually there are a lot of people who have waited a long time, so I thought it was worth throwing my two pennies worth in (or 2 cents, right? ;) ).

I have tried to update my timeline with all the relevant info, but honestly, some of the date are sketchy since, 1) we used a a lawyer and they dealt with nearly everything, and 2) it took so darn LONG for us to get through this process (well over a year), that I have so many emails, it's hard to find exact dates for things.

Anyway, that's me. I thought I'd introduce myself and help anyone else in this situation by letting you know my timeframe too.

If I have a change in status, which at this stage doesn't seem likely yet, then I'll be sure to post here.

I don't know if I'm allowed to post links on a thread, but if you go to my profile you should be able to find a link to my immigration story/blog I've been keeping.

Dan.
