Well I have called 2 Times and they never told me that as you . But maybe coz ur husband case not received yet from POE I don't know but why your husband didn't talk to them ? I did and totally understand them even if I am Arab and my English not like American sure . The officer today was so nice and helpful and if I don't understand anything he say it again and was good experience than first time

But sure u will need his passport and Receipt number and save field date too and all information about your paying and his alien number and everything

Don't think u will need more than that .

Let me know what's happened with u tomorrow

What state you guys live ?

We'll for sure have his passport and I'm going to bring my big ole binder from this entire nightmare to plop down on the guy's desk hahaha

I usually call USCIS when I have down time at work. I've typically made the phone calls because I'm the mean one in this marriage and he's just too polite and doesn't ask questions LOL

ok - for the green card recipient -

He/She (not the USCitizen Spouse) must call in as this is his/her green card.

USCIS will not talk with the Petitioner

UNLESS

you have the beneficiary on the phone with you. I've done 3 way calls before for this, so keep that in mind if you two are not on the same phone during the call.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Just logged in to uscis elis.. my gc is now on "optimized".. how long will it arrived on my mail?estimated days? TIA

1. doesn't matter. what matters is that you paid. after POE event, you get into a new queue. then there are 4 other queues until 'card production ordered'

2. please study other pages in the passport - there is a stamp given at the POE with a date on it.

3. restudy the VISA FOIL that was attached at the IV Unit, let us know if you truly not see the word 'endorsement' on your VISA FOIL.

waiting for good news from you.

i'm curious if it makes sense to schedule an appointement or not.

That's what we're going to have to do. The guy at the INFOPass told us to come back at the first of the year if he still doesn't have his green card. My husband will just need to call as I don't see any reason to go there again. It was a total waste of time for us to even go there. booooooooooooo

It was a major waste of time. The guy logged into the ELIS site, says it was being processed and they don't know when it will be produced "it could take months". I challenged that and then the guy said the officers at each POE send the packages to the Texas Service Center in bulk, so the chance is our package is at the bottom of the pile of the last bulk package sent in. I asked if there's anyway to verify that it was actually received in Texas and wasn't lost in transit or is still sitting at MSP. The guy said "ma'am, it's in Texas or else it wouldn't say it's in data entry". We also discovered that the stamp on my husband's visa is the wrong date. I doubt that will cause any problems, but it's just one more thing to not follow logic.

I highly recommend everyone read Kafka's The Trial. That book has been in my head all day as it's so similar to this doo-doo process.

Well well that's real wasting of time . If they can't help why u should go there . You could just call instead of that wasting .

Before I call them yesterday I made online inquiry and I thought it's not good or they not going to answer so I called . But they sent me Email that they get my inquiry and transferred it to Texas center and give me target time to 20 of November .

I think u have to call or make online inquiry

But till now no news

This worries gonna drive me crazy

Hope we hear something good soon

Good luck for all of us

Ok then! You helped me to make the decision, I'm not going to schedule an appointment.

Will be waiting and preparing to take my first test on my long way to a pharmacy license. Wish me luck.
