Just a FYI you guys:

POE'd on 2 May 14 @ Chicago O'hare Int'l.

Just looked up in ELIS system:

Request Type: USCIS Immigrant Fee Case Received Date: May 12, 2014 Received as: E-file Status: In Process Status Date: Jun 2, 2014 Payment: Submitted

so approximately 10 days to reach case received, and then to reach status (optimized) date 2 Jun 14- 32 days total.

so far 35 days after POE, so not bad considering it is taking 6-8 weeks.....

will keep you informed...peace...

Has anyone received their green card after using the ELIS site to pay their fees? If yes, how long did it take after POE? If no, how long have you been waiting? Did you pay before you POE'd or after?

I'm trying to get a guesstimate of how long it's taking to receive the green card after using the ELIS site to pay (which I know is a PITA) and if people paid before or after POE.

***for all green cards****

Paid Elis Feb 12

Dad poe was in Vancouver on March 6, 2014.

Applied SSN April 3, Elis optimized same day.

received SSN April 9.

Received GC April 15.

From optimized to GC in hand 12 days.

IR5 DAD's Journey Total of 1 year from mailing out form I-130

(Jan 2013) to Visa in hand(Jan 2014).

02/02/2014: Paid $165 at ELIS site

03/06/2014: PORT-OF-Entry=Vancouver Canada

03/31/2014: USCIS Status Address Change

04/03/2014: Applied for SS

​04/03/2014: ELIS STATUS showed OPTIMIZED right away the day we applied for SS card.

04/07/2014: Green Card Production

04/09/2014: SS Card received.

4/10/2014: ELIS and USCIS status: GREEN CARD PRODUCED/SHIPPED

4/15/2014: GC arrived in the mail (yay!)

i paid my gc fee on 5th june

Got ds 3032 :23 March 2010

Interview : 09-09-2010 Result :Administrative Processing

In december 2010 priority dates retrogessed and wait priority date current again in

MARCH 2012 2nd

Medical submit :07 March 2012 Result :Administrative Processing

3rd Medical submit :28th Feb 2013 Result Administrative Processing

4th Medical submit :26th Feb 2014 Result :Got email reply from embassy that they will call me for finger prints and oath ..and still waiting Got call for finger prints and oath

on 12th MAY Went for finger prints and oath :21th May Result :ApprovedVisa Issued :22.05.2014

 

visa Issued Today after 3 years 8 months and 13 days

Green Card fee paid : 05/06/2014

Poe :17/06/2014

Ssn Received :27-06-2014

Green Card Produced and Mailed :07/22/2014

Got 10 YEAR Green Card :25/07/2014

After 4 long months of waiting FINALLY I got this message on USCIS today. On June 6, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.YAY!!! :dancing: :joy: :dancing:

POE: Houston 20th January 2014

Paid fee: 27th January 2014

Social Security card in mail: 1st February 2014

USCIS Optimized 24th February 2014

Card Production ordered 6th June 2014. Very long wait I think I have waited the longest from all the posts on this forum i've seen.But USCIS ELIS still says Optimized.

hi cat21 you got 10year gc or 2 year gc

10 year gc! I think u need to go to ssa office get ss number maybe in a week after u get u ssn then gc in a few weeks.., I hope.... and u?

sure - ask your petitioner/sponser to go over it with you - sometime this week. stats are important and we not have many FB-4 designees here.
