it says "ACCEPTED", it has been like that since 11

I would to get your SSN first, see if they can look you up in the SAVE database. If they can, then USCIS has your stuff and the CBP logged you properly. You can also call the USCIS using your receipt number and try to figure out what's going on. But it's only been a month, a few others had it take longer.

I POE'd and then paid the immigration fee two days later. Hopefully it won't cause too many issues.

The border guard said it shouldn't as long as I paid it asap.

OK, I called the national customer service today, after long wait time I got to talk to L2 customer service rep. She said my case is still in process and that I will get a welcome letter first. "They are trying to put the Elis and POE documentation together" she said. Once this is completed the welcome will be sent and you'll be notified when to expect the green card. Well it looks like a long way to go still. It's been over 6 weeks since I moved and payed on 11 June.

She told me "Give it 30 days"

Well, this is the experience, did anyone have the same experience ? Did any one get their GC who payed and or traveled around same time ??

I didn't receive a separate welcome letter, just the pamphlet that came with the green card. Yours, I think, has taken the longest.

Went to SSA to order SSNs yesterday. Went back this morning and picked up the numbers.

Signed on to ELIS this afternoon and we’re both switched to “Optimized - In process”.

Yay! Movement!

YAY!!! Hope you get them soon!

My husband got his green card yesterday!! We received no "welcome letter". He has had his SSN for a month.

If you paid with ELIS, the "receipt number" on the back of the Green Card will show as a number beginning with IOE.

Oddly, even though we are CR1, his card was produced with a 10-year expiration date. (Don't worry, we know we still need to remove conditions as per normal timeframes.) All else on the card is correct. What should we do about this? We've received forum answers ranging from "nothing, just remove conditions as if it was a 2-year card" to "run in circles, scream, and shout".

Darnell has suggested sending the card back with a completed I-90. This seems to be a problem lately! You're one of at least 5 who have reported that they have received a 10 year card instead of the 2 year card.

Wow, really? I believe it. ZandraO's husband interviewed on the same day and entered on the same day as my husband (though they did not meet at the embassy or enter at the same POE) and her husband also had the date problem. In private correspondence she told me that they went for an InfoPass, where they were told that sometimes the 10-year date is correct (for a CR1?) and only an immigration official can check the record and tell. They were urged to correct it right away. (Her husband's GC has other problems, though.)

I was told by a very knowledgeable member of another forum I trust that the replacement GC can take up to a year to process, in which time the endorsed temporary I-551 represented by the visa in the passport will have expired. This might cause problems with employment, for example, though obviously not with USCIS itself. He recommended we use the existing GC, but remember to remove conditions in the regular way just before 2 years. I don't see a downside with this, unless the incorrect date somehow invalidates the card or the PR status of the immigrant. Of course I am not counseling this and I'll know more after I get to talk to an ISO. I've been on hold for almost two hours now... but given that the message I was given when transferred said "Your current hold time is 422 minutes" mad.gif I'm probably out of luck for the day.

Ya, I'm shifting my opinion nowish, to simply file for ROC in the right 2 year window, saying f-it on the misprint.

USCIS is bogged, new data systems in place that are both wrong and slower, so the fix will take longer (IMO).
